I have to tell you just how I feel
I won't share you with another boy

Roxanne by the Police.

Winner! Winner! Red Light Chicken Dinner!!

The first single off the band's debut album, "Roxanne" would become a Police signature song. In interviews, Sting said that he first realized he was famous when The police were touring following the release of Outlandos d'Amour. In his hotel room he heard a window washer outside idly whistling "Roxanne" while going about his job.

Blue Suede Shoes?

Winner! Winner! Lay off of my Chicken Dinner!!

Perhaps the most recognizable rock and roll song ever written, Carl Perkins was playing a dance in 1955 when he heard a teen by the stage warn his date, "Uh-uh, don't step on my suedes!" Perkins glanced down and saw the kid was wearing blue suede shoes and one had a scuff mark. The rest is history.

The song has been covered by a slew of artists but, obviously, the Elvis 1955 version is considered definitive...

No one to talk with
All by myself
No one to walk with
But I'm happy on the shelf
