I have played at Bodog/Bovada for at least 5 years now. Always been paid. I have a pending payout requested and processed on April 10, 2012- still ongoing now for 29 business days and 41 calendar days. I have been in contact with them and they continue to just make excuses, Easter holiday, payment processing department back logs, and now Kentucky Derby delays. Will I ever get my money?

Welcome Luckykat123. I note that in five years you've not had any complaints. Are you a resident of the State of Washington by any chance? If so, you should address your complaints to the Washington State Attorney General's office.

Are you joking? That would be admitting to online gambling, which I believe is a felony in WA state.

This sounds like the same business model as www.squareup.com - who kept monies "on hold" from credit cards clients paid me with until i threatened to sue them

I've been reading a lot about a lot of different people having significant delays in payouts via check and wire transfer from Bovada dating back to March 2012. I would be interested to see if the Wizard has any additional information he could provide.
I like to play blackjack. I'm not addicted to gambling. I'm addicted to sitting in a semi-circle.

Every month I write a US payment processing report for a major poker portal, and research this topic extensively. Bodog/Bovada has been slipping, but are about average for US players compared to other gaming sites. The average payment right now is probably 4-5 weeks to US players. It is not that Bodog/Bovada is trying to get out of paying you, there are just very few companies willing to process payments for US gaming sites. This creates a major backlog when there are processor problems. There is so much beyond just cutting you a check and putting it in the mail.
This is not their fault, all of the blame here falls on the US government, and indirectly the people that put lawmakers that backdoored the UIGEA into law in office, and those that refuse to repeal it.

I've said this before, but Bovada has been having problems getting withdrawals out in a timely manner. If you give me your account number I'll forward this onto my liaison there. You can reach me with the account number by Private Message.
