It makes this otherwise excellent site difficult to use as a card counting trainer. Any chance of an upgrade?
You don't need to know when the cards have been shuffled to use it to practice to count cards... But as it happens, I understand it continuously shuffles.Quote: BaronIn the card counting blackjack game on Wizard of Odds, there's no indicator for the player when a shuffle has happened and we've started a new shoe.

Sign up with an online casino that features live dealer games, and practice lurking and counting there. No need to actually play.

OD, FYI, there is a "tool" on the WOO site that is for training people to count cards, that does indeed deal from a shoe. And you do indeed need to know when the shuffle occurs.

On the card counting training game you can opt at any time to have the game show you the running count and the number of decks that have been dealt by clicking on the "Show Count" option. As you get close to the cut card, simply click on Show Count and presumably you will see when the shuffle occurs.
I admit that this is not optimum, but maybe it will help.

Cheers Gordon.

Hit 'Adjust rules' to the upper left of the table green area and toggle 'show count' just above it.
There's no image of the discard tray, so I have no way to know how close I'm getting to the cut card. Having a cut card or shuffle indicator would make this tool a lot more useful.
