Just out of curiously, has anyone actually met Steve Cyr or had him as a host? I just finished his book
"Whale hunt in the desert". Seeing him on tv doesn't count.
The Martingdale system always works perfectly until that one time that it doesn't.

He's been in studio on GWAE on two separate occasions. I also spent some time with him and Anthony Curtis in the Playboy Club on top of the Palms --- where we were all being interviewed separately by somebody I don't remember.

I asked him to set me up with somebody at the Atlantis in the Bahamas so I could arrange to take a "free" scouting trip (along with checking out the aqua areas) while a cruise ship I was on docked in Nassau. He did.

We haven't done anything else together. I'm not the kind of player he's looking for and we both recognize that.

Bob any chance of bringing him back again? Would love to get an update on his impression on comps and host in 2017.

Would also be interested in him talking a little more about slot player than the table player and vp player for bankrolls and rebates.

Slot players are so easy for casinos to measure that comps must be easy for them.
Sure its an endless game of 'casting the net to scoop up oodles of ploppies and having to deal with those few sharpies' but that is what computers are for. It is still a game similar to Radio Shack's old marketing ploy: Offer free flashlights but stack oodles of batteries, then six months later offer free batteries but stack oodles of flashlights in plain sight.

Radio Shack sold lots of merchandise that way but always had to deal with those who had will power and only took the free item and then left the store. Free flashlight and free batteries for the Sharpies.

Since radio shack sold such High House Edge items it was no big deal to give those Sharpies free merchandise.

Gambling casinos are pretty much in the same business. Sell time at a slot machine to many and put up with a few sharpies who use up their free play and then exercise will power and leave.

He's a fun guest and we'd love to have him back. I'd need a lot more suggestions on things we could ask him so it's just not a repeat of the last interview.
