Quote: JW17So I have seen that our emails will not be for sale, but today I received and email stating that since I am a member of the Wizard of Odds site that I am now eligible for a $1500 bonus from Bovada. Now I can easily delete this email but I find it strange they now have my email address.
That is troubling JW17. Has anyone else received similar?

I received the same email yesterday.
Also - after the sale I changed my email address. Yesterday I received the email at the old address I had on my account here, not the new one.
I believe they said our emails wouldn't be sold to mailing lists or casinos. Nobody said the new owners wouldn't try to market to us directly. Do you think they paid 2.4 just to add a few banners?Quote: JW17So I have seen that our emails will not be for sale, but today I received and email stating that since I am a member of the Wizard of Odds site that I am now eligible for a $1500 bonus from Bovada. Im not sure what the big deal is? Have it all sent to your junk mail. How many free sites don't add advertisements or use your email?
If the email is from Bovada, then it appears they may have sold them
Quote: rdw4potusDo you have a Bovada account? If so, did you sign up using the link from this site? In that case, they'd already know your email and that you came from here...
NO and NO
the point of the post is did others receive this and why? I live in AZ, it is a felony to gamble on the internet, so I would not be signing up anywhere
PLEASE show me the law that says its a Felony to gamble online in AZ.Quote: JW17NO and NO
