weird BJ Tourny Format

Hi,
I'm Playing in a BJ Tourny that is structured like a slot tourny. Everyone plays 2 rounds and the scores from the 2 rounds are combined. Top scores advance to Final table. Any Basic strategy to this?? I'm thinking max bet but not sure.

Not so much weird, just not standard. If they display the scores anywhere then that gives you a better idea on stretegy but it is going to be a go big or go home stretegy. The winner is almost always someone who went all in a few times. Not worth paying to enter unless there is a huge overlay.
Expect the worst and you will never be disappointed.
