As someone who developed his own video poker app do you have any advice for a newcomer? Was the app worth the time and cost?
Different from just a VP app I would pay a lot for the followingQuote: TortoiseI’m interested in developing gambling related apps for smartphones, video poker, blackjack, sigma derby, etc.

If you could make an all in one casino app with both a VP analyzer/ hold tutor, possibly other games as well(if they are playable all the better). A to do list, with a date reminder calendar, that's a cross between this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.casino.casinoTracker and this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.handynorth.moneywise_free and Wolf poker
something you could fully edit. Something that can help with free play pick up and record keeping/ log book / expenses/ what partners owe you or visa verse something with a very large list of casinos and casino games/ city's all with easy one touch. and cool Icons . I would buy it in the full version for at least $50 bucks. If it was real good $100 I knew a few others that would buy it as well. Of course you could have different versions
It would be nice if when I walk into a casino tap the casino ( A favorites would be nice) then I could tap with one touch and it would log the date along with when I started and a start session with a $ amount . Then click when I end my session Then have a start session with $ . and allow me to edit it if need be. If you could add something that would chart how good or bad I ran and odds of that happening.
it would be nice to Add a quick tip button that would automatically have the tip be added to the play as a tip notation.
I know it probably has to much stuff to add to an app, people probably want cheap apps. But if you made the best possibly you could tell a ton of them for less and it would be worth your time.

That's a serious laundry list of features! I doubt anyone will undertake all of them in one app. There are really a few different things that don't quite all integrate together:
*VP analyzer/tutor (I'm assuming one of these already exists?)
*casino tracker that has current info on the games available. (the hard part here is keeping the information current)
*bankroll tracker/record keeping (including the partner debt tracking)
*free play pickup reminder? this one doesn't really fit either.
I wanted to write an app with the session/bankroll tracker part a long time ago. In fact, the reason I initially joined this forum was to float that idea by the posters here, which I did in my very first post.
Sadly, I never got around to making it or seeing if anything out there would suffice. I even have a crappier phone now (downgraded from an Android to a cheap talk/text phone), but the default "memo" thing is good enough. I just scribble my notes in there, and put them in my spreadsheet when I get home. Most Vegas trips I have my laptop back in the hotel room anyway, so as long as I transcribe the results into my spreadsheet in a timely manner, the job isn't too long.
