Ok, then... my two cents (sorry ladies)

Lisa looks "normal cute", like a small town girl. Approachable, easy to talk to, just another random cute girl at the game or the mall. Good looking enough to want to be around, not so overboard one would get weird around her. If I had something I wanted someone to be around in person, she'd be my pic.

Angela looks high energy, almost too high for my tastes. Be great for drawing attention, but would wear me out. I'd steer clear for just that reason. One look and I see 30 minutes of chatting without a breath.

Karina looks "normal", just another woman in a crowd. Certainly not unattractive, but...doesn't stand out.

Susie is a gamble. Either "new-age" or traditional. I'd expect her to be well versed in something, but that something could be fantastic or something I couldn't care less about. Either way, she'd probably be the most comfortable to be around. She looks content and "at one", and will be so whether you're there or not.

Mandy is the most exotic, and probably the one that would get the most snap decision looks and double takes. She's also the one that looks the most self conscious and tense. She'd probably get the most attention on-line where keyboard warriors could look in anonimity, but would get the least attention live cuz she's too much.

So... there it is.

I voted for Karina, the photo is outdoors and looks washed out a bit, a minute or so of pix-edit would have helped, but I did, and she'd spicy enough for me.
I'm tired of blonds/wannabe's. Find a red-head or two. And of course most any good-looking woman 25-40 with violet or green eyes might well be an insta-hire.

When I was that age, yes, pretty close, thank you. (And yes, I can prove it, but I won't.) Now, not so much. But I like a lot of things about my life better than back then, so it all works out.

When you're hot and beautiful, nobody sees you. They see themselves wearing you, whether on their arm or on their penis. Might as well be a Real Doll. And a lot of women survive on that, even thrive on it. Not me. A very empty and self-destructive time of life, valuing myself through other people's eyes.

Not griping; just how it was.

Can we assume that these women are unaware that they are in a "contest" where they are being judged by anonymous men on a gambling forum? I have to wonder if they would be okay with that. How does one get their hair stylist to pose for pictures at a bar without coming off a little - fill in the blank? Who needs a hair stylist anyway? My barber just got out of jail, where he perfected his craft. He does a wonderful job and charges only eight bucks on Wednesdays. I challenge anyone to compare his work to that of a high priced, perhaps overpriced, stylist. Yes, I tip him because he deserves it.

Fair enough. That's why I put contest in quotes. Let's contact them and ask them. Maybe we can get another challenge going with a prize of course. I know it wouldn't be as exciting as someone losing weight but I'm sure we can tough it out. :-)

Modeling is a profession largely based on how one looks. I think they would understand as much as any woman in a beauty pageant.

If he lived anywhere near me, I'd be happy to patronize him. However, whenever I go to get an $8 haircut I come out looking like my father did the job, which is NOT a good thing. If your guy does such a good job, he should be able to charge more than that.

1.) What Beethoven9th said.

2.) The pictures of the women that Wizard posted were taken in the course and scope of modeling for the Wizard's websites for the purpose of unlimited and unrestricted use of same on Wizardofodds.com, or any subsidiary of Wizard of Odds Consulting. As such, the images taken in the course and scope and during the time these women modeled for Wizard can be used on Wizard of Vegas, owned by Wizard of Odds Consulting, as Wizard sees fit.

IOW, whether or not they would be, "Okay with it," is legally irrelevant.

Two years ago, right before G2E, I went to Fantastic Sams in a pinch. Now, they were probably $12-$14, I don't remember, but I ended up looking like Lloyd from Dumb and Dumber. Then, I had to scramble to get it fixed. There's only one semi-decent place in my town, and it is $14 before tip; I take my kids there. For my own hair, I pay $35+tip and drive 45 minutes to get there. The guy I go to is booked solid at least 2 days in advance.

O.O

I haven't paid for a haircut in 15 years. Last time I did it was $7.

$35 seems borderline insane to me. Of course, I'd think nothing of dropping same on a new fishing lure...

I think they would be very pleased to be considered for further work and to read the comments discussing how beautiful they are. I sort of hijacked the thread by responding to the OP with what is really a tangent, though it was in context to the flow of the conversation; sorry, Wiz. They have chosen to take advantage of the gifts they were given; more power to all of them, and any of them would be an asset.

Isn't that rather the point? Isn't that why Max Factor and
Helena Rubenstein invented modern cosmetics, so a woman
can look her best all day every day? All young women want
to be hot and beautiful, just ask them. And the ones who are
have always flaunted the hell out of it. It's a heck of an asset,
use it while you got it, cause it sure don't last. And that keeps
the plastic surgeons in business..

I remember the first time I saw my my first girlfriend without
makeup. I froze like a statue, I had no idea most of her looks
came out of her purse. I don't think I ever got over the shock
of it.

Apologies, 1BB.
I just now had the thought that you may be tryin' to inject a little humor concerning the photo.

I was but as some of you know, humor is not my strong suit. Hey, I'm here all week. :-)

If you enlarge the photo, which you all did, you can see that the original bet is outside the circle and the payout inside leading to my double down joke. A better question would be why the heck am I looking at the table? :-)

Charlize Theron and Charlize Theron in "Monster"

But in "Monster", she was deliberately made to look like the real-life person she was portraying.

I agree though that she achieved her goal in looking unattractive. lol
