Get a few more points out of your Total Rewards Visa

It's not much, but just noticed on my TR visa statement that the reward points are calculated by rounding the transaction up to the next whole dollar on every individual transaction, so if you're getting gas, which is 2x points, $10.00 equals 20 points but $10.01 equals 22 points. It's not much, but figured I'd pass it along.

There 1.9% interest per month at 22.9% . 25 bucks would be my max and pay it off. As it is, I would be more likely to use the card that's maxed out. I make more than minimum payments and the overall balance has dropped. That's my situation.

It was about platinum status for me.
