I highly reccommend The Palace after my first visit there a couple of weeks ago. Completely non-smoking!!!! Pleasant dealers and probably the best drink service I have ever experienced anywhere. $5 minimums were the norm. I have also already recieved an offer from them already for two free nights and $150 free play after not very much play on my part.
A good side trip is to Mobile and visit the USS Alabama, a battleship. You are free to wander around anywhere you would like on it. There is also a drydocked WWII submarine there and the interior looks like it just came out of the shipyard - astounding to experience how cramped these boats really were. There is also a good aircraft museum and quite a selection of military vehicles there. I believe the cost was only about $12 a person and it very easy to spend most of a day there. It is about a 1 hour drive from Biloxi.

The last couple times we were in Biloxi, we went to the Palace for dinner. The changes they've made are major and we really enjoyed the casino. I think that next year I'll frequent their establishment a little more and see if I can generate some offers. It was nice enough that we might even pay for a couple nights. Sharon sure does like the idea of non smoking.
