Based on this This Article, I would think the price is right.
There's emptiness behind their eyes
There's dust in all their hearts
They just want to steal us all and take us all apart

Based on the article, I don't think you can buy the casino. Doesn't seem like CET wants the competition. CET is more interested in eliminating the property, and thus the competition it could possibly create.

The entire property floods horribly for weeks a year, from several inches to a couple feet. It's uncomfortable at best, smells of mildew and rot during that time no matter what they do. The barge, which is where the actual casino is, floats, but the hotels and other amenities are regularly underwater. Who would want it? Knock it all down and let the Mississippi have the land back.
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

Which is why we'll hire AceofSpades as our attorney. CET's attorney's are too busy in bankruptcy court to stop us. I think BBB is on board.Quote: RaleighCrapsBased on the article, I don't think you can buy the casino. Doesn't seem like CET wants the competition. I was there just a couple of weeks before they closed. I really don't understand why they closed. They had the highest minimums in Tunica and where still packed. There where four craps tables open at $10 min and all where full. I've never seen that at GoldStrike or Horseshoe. They had one roulette table at $5 mins and one at $10. You couldn't get on the $5 table and there was alsmost always someone on the $10 table. The one $5 roulette table was the only $5 table in the place. They had $5 video blackjack and there was a line of people waiting to get on the machine.
Harrah's always seemed to have a younger crowd than the other casinos when I was there. I still don't understand how it was losing money.

The rooms not being on site are a problem. And the fact that there is really nothing to do in Tunica for non gamblers also limits the ability to draw folks into the area. Too many much nicer properties are located in almost any state. I think I will save my $1M to get me through the next 40 years of non work. ;-)
