Here are the December numbers with a few major changes. First up is that Internet results are shown. Looks like Borgata and Caesars have the market cornered already, like they do the rest of AC.

But more importantly is that they are no longer showing the breakdown by each table game and the win percentage per game. Some have speculated that they were giving too much information out to places that release nothing, but no official word has been released on the reason.

Whatever the reason I believe the numbers always showed most players had no concerns about even basic strategy, so they really had nothing to hide. I just hope they don't follow the Nevada lead and release even less info in the future.

As always, comments are appreciated. Bob

The Revel is down because Ace went to Vegas

Revel won a combined 31.3% more in December 2013 than in December 2012, because they didn't have Ace taking all of their money at the Blackjack table!!!

Thanks for the link, Mission.

It's pretty sad how the NJ gaming market seems to have no floor. It keeps dropping and dropping and dropping, even compared to December 2012, which was not exactly "the good old days" in Sandy-wrecked coastal NJ.

Sports betting + online accounts is the only thing that can save NJ gaming.

It will be revolutionary to be able to bet on sports legally from your cell phone. If you win big on a game, you can go down to AC and pick up your winnings and live it up for a weekend. Imagine being in AC during March Madness or the Super Bowl.

Sure, Vegas is mobbed during big sports events, but the demographics are different. Sports gambling is HUGE in the urban Northeast. If AC can get even 5% of the market that illegal bookies have, it will be back in a big way.

No problem! Thanks to Boz for showing me where to get these links, I'd have posted this thread myself in the next few days if he hadn't already!

My understanding is that you have to already be in the State of New Jersey to do any of the on-line stuff or sports betting, is that so?

The Sports Betting is definitely novel for NJ and should generate some revenue that they would not have previously had, although, I tend to wonder how much the on-line gambling will help other than sports betting and how much of it is just business that would have went to a B&M casino, anyway.

I'm mainly curious as to how what would have been the gaming win for the Atlantic Club for 2014 gets spread out, which is why I think Caesar's bought the actual physical property with no intention of re-opening it. Atlantic Club was mainly just a locals place is my understanding, so it seems there won't be too many people from out of state changing their travel/vacation plans over the loss of Atlantic Club, and the locals will simply just go somewhere else.
