So I recently moved back to Washington State and I'm looking to graduate from my local card parlors to one of the Eastern Washington casinos. The Spokane area ones seem to be the nicest. Any one have any experience with them and any recommended places or places to avoid? I can be talked out of them if any of the other eastern Washington/Eastern Oregon casinos are better.

I haven't been to any near Spokane, but the one across the border in Pendleton, Oregon (Wildhorse casino) has a decent hotel (newly remodeled) and a nice casino.
Like most tribal joints though, it is isolated: nothing else to do nearby.

I spent a couple of nights playing at the Northern Quest casino a little over a year ago. It is about 15 minutes West of Spokane near the airbase. It is a decent size casino with 1800 slots and a good selection of table games including craps, I think it was 2 tables and a $5 minimum. Didn't play any other table games but it seemed to have a decent seletction with available seats. One of the nights was a Saturday and it was quite busy including a big concert but still could find spots at the tables or slots. Lots of parking including a parkade. Decent restaurants, hotel and concert venue.
I didn't take any notes but my wife and I enjoyed the casino and found lots to keep us entertained. I didn't bother with a players card so not sure how good their program is. We had enough fun that we didn't bother checking out any other casinos in the area but I believe it was the largest.

Be careful when you follow the masses, the M is sometimes silent.

I'm actually kind of interested in this myself. I'm currently looking to move from the Las Vegas area and i'm considering here or colorado. I heard Spokane is a great place but i'm very curious to what the average toke rate is for the dealers in that area.

I have heard from dealers in WA state that they make more money than in Vegas. The card clubs are "go for your own" tips, so if you're a good, friendly dealer I'm sure it's true. I think the tribals are pooled, though.

There is a great deal of money floating around Washington State, so the tribal casinos are happy to rake it in but I doubt the toke rates are all that great. Probably better than a Stations casino in Vegas though.
Saw a round of Blackjack or something being dealt at a card club. Players put their bets in their betting box and the dealer who supposedly was the banker placed a payout for a Blackjack in front of each one before anything was dealt. He couldn't pay off from his bank. I found that too confusing and annoying and left.

Seems like they go for their own in small card rooms. I've had dealers tell me to take insurance because the count was high as well as telling me to raise my bets because a bunch of small cards came out.

Not sure if your post was mistaken or you meant to change gears, but WA state card rooms are house-banked like a traditional game; not player/corp-banked like CA card rooms.
