for your 1st deposit, bovada waves their 5% fee for VISA deposits.

unfortunately, it seems that your credit card company will charge you a foreign transaction fee.
I got lucky in that my credit card is just 1%. a lot of others charge 3%.
(capital one is 0%, but I don't have their VISA.)

it was a 1.184% fee. i'm assuming the .184% is the exchange rate round off?

Just a FYI

edit:
I just looked up my credit card. they eliminated their foreign transaction fees for ALL their credit cards in 2011?!
guess i'm going to call Bovada up.

If I had to guess it is Bovada trying to make sure the transaction is not exactly $50/$100 etc because those are more likely to look like gambling than $99.85 or $101.84. That was an old trick and some places still do it.
