Good times the past year. Enjoyed myself and even won a little money, but all good things must come to an end.

wow... what an awful sign and an awful sight in an awfully mismanaged place.

very disappointed.

revel is going to lose the group of people (that evidently included chauncey and me) who played there exactly because of the nonsmoking casino floor. what, exactly, does revel have to offer established TR and Borgata AC players now?

maybe that taco truck has a devoted legion of fans that will keep the place afloat.

The designated smoking areas are near Royal Jelly (table games and slot machines) and DigiPit (electronic table games). However, you can smell the smoke as soon as you enter from the parking garage on the 6th floor.

smoking permitted

Perhaps they're hoping the smoke is from the place burning down and they can collect insurance.
There's no secret. Just know what you're talking about before you open your mouth.

:D Probably their only hope. I would LOVE a non-smoking casino near me (as long as the games don't go down the tubes...).

The sad thing is that this will be used as a reason for nobody else trying non smoking when the non smoking had nothing to do with why they failed. We all agree they failed to create a reason for players to play there with their poor attitude from Kevin from Day 1 and failed to provide better comps than anyone else. They will file again by the end of the year when they blow through the $69M the court gave them.

And if you put $7835 through a slot machine, you didn't have to pay for that Taco!

Boz, I am pretty sure that in 10 years, every casino in NJ will be non-smoking. It is just a matter of time.

We can only hope, but you are more optimistic than me as the tobacco lobby is as strong as ever. They always work for exemptions to show that they are giving, yet in the end they keep the places where they want smoking to continue.

Here in PA they banned it in bars and restaurants that serve more than 25% food, yet allowed private clubs to allow smoking. So the Fire Companies, VFW's, etc and bars that just ring food under liquor gained business and those following the law lost business.
