Quote: vegasThe VP paytables at the Roadhouse has been drastically reduced. They were the best place to play video poker in my opinion but have since reduced most. I hope the locals stay away in protest.
Yeah I am hoping they stay away too. VPFree2 says the penny progressive with 9/6 JoB (0.25% meter rise) still exists as does the left unit of the 25c, 50c, $1 9/6 DDB w/STP (3-play only).
Fitz still has 8/5 Super Aces Bonus (99.94%) as a coindropper for dollars. Should be the best game left in Tunica now.
Personally if I was the slot/vp manager, I would have ditched some of the units for slots (there are too many game kings), but I wouldn't have touched the paytables. Of course, obviously I am biased...lol
The best I did was roll four points before sevening out. I have no idea how many throws it consisted of.

Possibly not that many rolls but probably a bunch [usually you'd have a sense of lot of time passing]. I haven't made as many as four points for a hand in a while, and the last time out I don't think I saw anyone do it [in two sessions]
Also it seems that discretion comps are pretty easy to get. We just got comped two seafood buffets at 21.99 each. I had been playing $5 pass line and $10 odds placing 5 on the come out and odds on the come out for about a hour. I asked if I could get two buffets comped and they gladly provided.
Quote: Mikey75The BJ table have had my number and every session so far has ended in a loss. The craps table however has made up for it. I'm up $250 for the trip this far. My wife went on a great roll and made everyone at the table some money. I had every number covered with multiple come out bets when she finally sevened out.

Where were you playing where the seafood buffet was only $22? How was it? And definitely sounds like a pretty good comp for the amount of play (assuming you were just playing there today...if you didn't take a comp yesterday, that sounds more expected).
Next time buy the 5 for $20. Pays $29 on a win.Quote: Mikey75I had been playing $5 pass line and $10 odds placing 5 on the come out and odds on the come out for about a hour.

I realize that I am butting in when I don't really know, but I suspect that Mikey75 did not mean that he was place betting the number 5 on come-out rolls. I think he meant that he was playing both the pass line bet and some come bets, with odds on both, and he just jumbled the terms a little. Otherwise, I don't know what he intended by the phrase "odds on the come out". I don't think it's too unusual for someone to confuse the terms for a come bet and a come out roll.
Ah, yeah, Doc. That makes sense. Nobody on this board would ever place the 5 anyway... :)Quote: DocI realize that I am butting in when I don't really know, but I suspect that Mikey75 did not mean that he was place betting the number 5 on come-out rolls. I place the 5 and 9 all the time... but I would never hop the 6-2.
The dice went around the table a couple of times last night without much at all happening. I hit a point and then sevened on the very next throw two times in a row. Then it happened. I was down to my last $25 for the session when the dice came to me again. I tossed and hit a seven three times and then I made a point. And I rolled and rolled and rolled. I really don't know how many rolls or how long it was but it must have been ten minutes or so before I made the point. I immediately rolled another point and several throws later hit the point. Then I throwed another seven for a pass line win. I tossed the dice and they hit the table and flew straight up with one die missing the rail and hitting a lady standing at the end of the table before falling to the floor. I apologized to her and promptly rolled another point. I don't know how long it lasted for sure but it had to be close to 20 to 30 minutes that I held the dice. Seemed like a lifetime. A man at the opposite corner of the table from me had been betting hard and losing hard. He was down a little over $3000 when I started my roll. He was back even when I finally sevened out. I turned my 25 into $200 betting very conservative.
I finally had a wining session at BJ late last night early this morning. Wasn't a big win but the only one I got at the BJ table all weekend. After my good roll I hung around the craps table untill I lost most of it back. All in all I got comped to a seafood buffet for me and my wife Fri night and also Sat morning brunch buffet for a total of $80 worth of meals and I left $155 up. Not to bad for a low roller weekend. I'm looking forward to my next trip out.
