If nobody responds to this, then you could just call the casinos and ask for the Tables area on the premise that you are an experienced dealer who wants to apply and is interested in the shifts. I'm going to be a bit pressed for the next few days, but I may well do it for you Friday if nobody has responded to this thread by then and you haven't done it. Give it the old bump on Friday if you don't know anything yet, but remember you have to tell a joke.
Make it better than my jokes, if possible, they suck.

Oh, blast!
I was supposed to call for him, but then again, he forgot to bump the thread. Hopefully, tomorrow.

I can't speak to Reno, but Sunday morning is often when big money plays in Vegas. The rich business executives know that the younger weekend revelers are still sleeping off their Saturday, so they can get in some serious, no-kids gambling. All of the big dice games I've ever seen have been Sunday mornings, guys playing with $1000 and $5000 chips, $5k on the line, $2k hardways, tipping green and black, etc. Not that I was playing, mind you, but the dealers were doing just fine. It's been a few years since I saw a big dice game in Vegas on a Sunday morning, but the last time I was at the MGM they had the big chips out and, with the exception of the larger-diameter $25,000 chips, all denominations were in play.
"In my own case, when it seemed to me after a long illness that death was close at hand, I found no little solace in playing constantly at dice."
