Personally, to promote my Poker For Roulette idea, I have plans on stopping at any booth that resembles a game distributor, as well as any Roulette system distributor - live, automated, or video.
Since the WoVcon dinner is Tuesday, I plan on going to the TCS John Huxley thing at GhostBar on Wednesday, probably around 3:00.

But, as I was scanning the G2E vendor/booth list I bumped into this group:
Quote:NIGA-National Indian Gaming Assn.
NIGA is a non-profit organization comprised of Native American Tribes and other nonvoting associate members. The mission is to advance the lives of Indian people economically, socially and politically.
How do you pronounce the acronym NIGA? Or at least, how do you pronounce it with a straight face?
Does anyone else think that this organization should have named itself NAGA - Native American Gaming Assn?

No, they don't pronounce it like you're thinking. It is pronounced like someone from Brooklyn might say "tiger," but with an N instead of the T.
Rather than get a booth, or even a block of booths, at G2E, they rented out the entire GhostBar and are doing their own show there. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that it's cheaper to do it that way. Or if not, they are at least getting more bang for their buck.Quote: NicksGamingStuffWhat is the Jon Huxley thing at ghost bar?
Go to their website, www.tcsjohnhuxley.com. This is the first thing that pops uip in the center of the screen.
FYI: I was under the impression that it's invitation only. There was a link here about 1 1/2 months ago to get the invite.
But now, that link on their home page brings you to the video intro followed by the registration form. The video is only about 1 minute, doesn't tell you much about the event, but it piques the interest. And I think that was the goal. If so, it succeeds and was very well done.
Yeah, I kinda figured that, but I think they did that deliberately.Quote: WizardNo, they don't pronounce it like you're thinking. It is pronounced like someone from Brooklyn might say "tiger," but with an N instead of the T.
Quote: NicksGamingStuffI registered, it should be interesting to check this out. Do you want to meet up at the Palms ahead of time so we can go together?
Look out for Steve Au-Yeung (Mr.CasinoGames) as he will be on the TCS/Huxley stand during the whole exhibition.
I was thinking more like, meet at G2E and share a cab ride. I figure around 3:00 on Wednesday.Quote: NicksGamingStuffI registered, it should be interesting to check this out. Do you want to meet up at the Palms ahead of time so we can go together?
Yeah, that works!

Absolutely - a very sharp and brilliant idea.
People "let their hair down" after a hectic day on the G2E floor, and become very open to new ideas - with a smile on their faces and with drinks in their hand.
Dave, you better be there!

Wow...Obviously a sales draw for the American market. You and Roger don't have shit on him. What a sales coup...a must for any cocktail party... :)

If any of you guys happen to be at the TCS-Johnhuxley show at the GhostBar.
Please come and see me, I will be there during the whole exhibition (Showing Luck Draw Baccarat and a few new games).
Lucky Draw Baccarat®: A game that combines the basic rules of Baccarat with the game format of Blackjack.
Hell yeah. That's half of what I've been talking about in this thread.Quote: PaigowdanDave, you better be there!
And in other threads and older posts, I mentioned that one of my desires of G2E is to see their Double Action Roulette in action. For one thing, I have an idea to use it in conjunction with a 4-result version of Poker For Roulette.
Steve -
I was going to send a PM to ask. No need now. See ya Wednesday!
Sorry, I couldn't help myself.
