When last we encountered our intrepid troll he was transitioning through his 7th or 8th alias at WOV, long after his "confession" where he stated he would never darken the door of the WOV forums again. While there has been some speculation about various "new" users who seemed to retain some of his less charitable attributes, none has been particularly active of late.

But fear not ye who are worried he might have met some horrible, (yet apropos), fate for he is alive and well and spreading the gospel to disinterested parties throughout the internet! But alas, all is not completely well for our hero has found himself embroiled in controversy, hoisted by his own petard.

An acquaintance was kind enough to point me to this thread on what appears to be a relatively new forum where Jerry apparently took up residence earlier this week. In a shift of tactics he embraced his recent history at WOV, (making a few less than kind statements in the process), and his intense adoration for Rob Singer and his methods. But it was his downfall, and ultimate quick banishment that readers of this forum might find the most interesting.

During the course of his introduction he proudly mentioned his $5 royal and linked to the WOV post where the picture of it resides and eventually that image was also posted in the thread. About halfway down page 3 the forum moderator asked where he got the royal to which Jerry replied: It was at the Aquarius in Laughlin.

Anyone who read that WOV thread may remember that while he never explicitly stated where "Training session's #3 and #4" took place he implied they were at Casino AZ with his opening statement:

Quote:

You may remember right after my suspension began that I was about to go to Casino Az. for another training on video poker from the master.

This actually is only marginally relevant, but it does add just a little more fuel to the fire.

The true detective work, and kudos, go to the forum moderator who did a little work on analyzing the picture. For reference, this was the original image:

And this is the relevant portion of his takedown:

Quote:

That picture is of a Multi Poker machine at either Wynn or Encore in Las Vegas. Wynncore is one of the few places that uses a black background (instead of the default blue) on their video poker games. That by itself isn't definitive proof, but look at the reflection of the glass at the top of the screen. It's the custom red glass that says "Multi Poker" that is only used by Wynn/Encore, as it has the Wynn/Encore shield logo in the glass!

And he included an image of the Wynn logo:

He went on to write:
Quote:

I'm sure "JerryLogan" would backpedal and say that he forgot he was at Wynn, or some garbage like that, but I'm pretty sure most people who have hit a $20K Royal would remember where they were when they hit it, and not name a casino that is 100 miles away.

So there you have it. They say a picture is worth 1000 words, but in some cases I think it's priceless.

This was the exact reason I encouraged Mr Logan to post his pictures and facilitated them being published... to see if there was anything odd about them, or if they were copies from some other location.

Nice one, glad some did do the detective work.

Ha! Nice to see Jerry hoisted by his own petard. There is no way he is not Singer. No one with an intelligence larger than a desert snail (and Jerry unfortunately qualifies) would come close to championing Singer's methods. The whole thing is just too cute.

And they banned him! He must be used to that by now. He probably got the Wynn pic from a blog, people are always posting pics of royal flushes they take with their cell phones. What a liar and fraud he is, like we didn't know already.

Good detective work on the part of whoever busted him. I don't recall if he posted that picture here, but I wouldn't have figured out where it was taken. Maybe that's why I'm a "putz," as he called me.

Yep that was one of the pictures I helped him post. He's repository of photos is here : http://www.flickr.com/photos/56931127@N04/

There's another odd thing about all those photos as well....

The 2nd and 3rd are the same pic, is that what you mean? And they all have a black background.

Nope, not that.

It's merely odd rather than a smoking gun (which the Wynn picture is). Most photo's get tagged automatically with meta data, with time of shot, camera, original compression and so on. None of these have that. Flickr allows you to see that meta data (as do other tools). It's not impossible to remove this data. Or manipulate it. It was just odd that it's not there.

I'm a member on the latest board that Jerry Logan got tossed from. The admin Kevin is a smart guy and trapped him. It didn't take but 2-3 posts from him for most of the regulars to realize that he was Singer and then the hunt was on. That board has a general access side and a "protected" side that keeps trolls out so he didn't get far....first post June 5....tossed June 8. RIP.

Singer posted this on another board...

"Two months ago I proposed this challenge to Wizard (and it was open to his followers in any way he or they chose) on his forum, and it was in response to the claims that it was impossible that I could win anything with my play strategy:

I said I would play 10 sessions of my strategy in front of anyone they chose. I said that if I did not win at least 7 out of 10, I would pay him $50,000. If I did he would pay me the $50k. I further proposed that if my overall profitting wasn't at least $25,000 without slot club benefits by the time the 10 sessions were completed, I would pay him another $50,000. Of course if I did then he'd pay me the $50k. I would accept that Wizard, whom I know, would be trusted with the $200,000 total in cash escrow. And all this came after a different challenge for $30,000 from a member named "Michael Bluejay" who stated that any betting system that did not strictly follow the math (which mine doesn't at ~95%) and still won would get the $30k.

I received a gracious decline from Wizard and all, suddenly stating that they now believed I would win at least 80% of the time. But they stuck to their guns claiming I would not be able to be a "long-term winner", to which they had no answers to the fact that I had in fact won with it for over a decade."

I'm curious if this ever took place. I know he has a way of interpreting his side of the story and was curious of there was a thread that disclosed the real conversation/exchange.

Thanks,

Dan

Thats Singer's Twilight Zone version, the way it would go if he was Rod Serling/Jerry Singer.

Watch out for sock puppets now.

Mr. Bluejay has a long standing challenge to anyone who can demonstrate a winning "system." That's what Singer's talking about. So you see it wasn't specifically directed at him at all.

If you look around the board you'll find a long thread about Singer's challenge. I maintain it is ridiculous he wants to make it a bet. If he has a system that can win consistently then he should be able to prove it. Better yet, he should keep his mouth shut and just play VP.
