Sorry for the many choices (at that I needed more). I can provide explanations, but fans don't need them.

I love anything Trek. I managed to get my wife big into DS9, and to an acceptable extent TNG and Enterprise. She hates TOS and Voyager along with the TOS crew movies. She loved the new Star Trek movie.

I was going to put in an option like "Enterprise Isn't Trek," but then I remembered I'm a recovering Trekkie :P

Mostly the original show and some DS9 and The Next Generation. I gave it up when they seemed to fall back on the holodeck for plot lines too often, and tried too hard to make the show appeal to kids with Wesley Crusher.

I like the one called, "City on the Edge of Forever." Had seen it, actually only part of it, ONE time. For some reason remembered Spok's reasoning to let Joan Collins die almost word for word. Years later was talking about it with the copy machine repairman and he insisted I had seen it many times if I remembered it that well.

"The Trouble with Tribbles" is kind of funny.

As to movies, I can tolerate "The Voyage Home."

Sorry, just not a fan.

I was all over the board on Star Trek. Liked TOS, loved TNG, never got into DS9, couldn't stand Voyager (except for 7 of 9's outfits!), and liked Enterprise. Saw all of the movies, but most were just so-so. I was luke-warm on the re-boot movie.

Nice photo of Seven Of Nine.

On the show, she was usually seen in profile. (Not that I'm complaining...)

DS9 was great until about half-way through the war against the Dominion. And they should never have brought Worf aboard.

It had a few good eps. The premise was flawed from the beginning, of course. Or rather it was a tired premise with very bad precedents: Lost in Space, Time Tunnel, Quantum Leap, Voyagers, etc etc etc (maybe that explains the many time travel eps). Any ep featuring a way home, you knew would fail, be a reset button, make things worse, etc. Except the last ep.

But Voyager's ultimate sin was to be stranded in the region of space dominated by the Borg. Naturally they'd run into the Borg, and naturally they'd win every time. That weakened the Borg and demoted them to Klingon-like status in the Trek pantheon. Consider, in one TNG episode one Borg ship destroyed a big chunk of Starfleet, and the good guys win through an unusual scheme, and Riker's gamble that Picard held information or something that would help them defeat the Borg. In Voyager one Starfleet ship, with limited resource and repair capabilty (allegedly) lays waste to the Borg over and over again.

But then:

and liked Enterprise.

You're dead to me :P

Seriuosly, Enterprise finished doing to the Borg what Voyager started. There was no need for a Borg ep in the series. But since they had one, a reasonable victory would have been for Enterprise to drive the Borg away, but lose big in the process.

Better than half the movies were terrible. One of the big mysteries of our era is how ST II ever got green-lighted, after the awful, awful awful STTMP.

I haven't seen the remake movie. I'm recovered from Trekkie-dom that much ;)

The Voyage Home was the most popular of all 10 original movies. The re-boot was the biggest success and the most popular of all.

The video didn't mention that at one point in his military career, Doohan refused to carry out a direct order from a superior officer, thus saving his fellow servicemen from what would have been a fatal incident.
