In algebra. Besides my homework from 1978, there aren't a lot of unsolved algebra problems.

I misread the title of this thread. I thought we’d be discussing “the oldest profession”…!

I once took an algebra exam and was the only one to get all ten answers correct. I failed that exam because I didn't show my work. i then asked the instructor what 2+2 is and he said 4. I asked him to show his work but he said it was obvious. I agreed with him and said that applied to his exam also.
You can't know everything, but you can know anything.
