A process of many pills.

But as stated some days I take all, others days almost none. Just depends on how I feel or if I get around to it.

And as stated, even if the bottle suggests taking more than one I generally take 1 only.

I always wonder why nobody puts out "take one pill for every 100 lbs of body weight" or recommending doses in a similar fashion. Should a 100 lb woman take the same dosage as a 300 lb man?

Generally no. But the relation is not linear. A lot of the drugs we use to put someone to sleep with are dosed somewhere between ideal body weight and actual weight.

Id estimate an obese (300lb) man might need twice as much as a fit 100lb woman.

On the Big Bang Theory Sheldon said vitamins are just a recipe for expensive urine. I concur. I don't need vitamins, I plan to die healthy with no supplements.

The only pill I take every day is an Ambien.

There's a good site that reviews the science for each supplement, showing the outcomes for studies where people take them. They also organize it the other way, for each malady, listing which supplements have been shown to help (or not). Finally, they test supplements to make sure they've contain the amounts they say they do, and don't contain things like heavy metals. It's around $50/yr. but I feel it's well worth it. I've had this discussion with trainers and Doctors most of my adult life and the answer is almost always that they factored the weight into the dosage. I think the two pills I take twice a day might be once a day if I weighed 190. I'm down about seventy pounds from my peak weight and I don't think I'm taking lesser doses.

Most of the doctors I have had say that "oil-soluble" vitamins work, but "water-soluble" ones like multivitamins are pretty much useless. The only vitamin supplements I am on are Vitamin D (when you work in a cubicle all day, you don't get much sunlight) and Fish Oil. I was surprised that the giant fish oil tablets actually go down a lot easier than the smaller pills.
