I'm trying to educate myself to the fullest not just about casinos, but everything beatable in life. From Credit Cards to Travel Hacking, etc etc. I know this sounds kind of general, but I want to take every aspect of life and get the best deal out of it. Any websites or podcasts you would recommend? Please PM if too sensitive :)

It can help you find loose change and empty beer cans to return. All that walking you do can turn into $1.50 per day

Just doing that walking at all is probably worth more than $1.50 per day in decreased lifetime health costs, even if you never pick up anyone else's cans.

You forgot about the part where you can walk away whenever you want... very important to understand that. Thanks for your diligence and see you at the can recycling machine.

Spending all of your time trying to optimize your EV is -EV. Think on that for a bit...

Right, but spending all of your time figuring out the best play is not playing. Analysis paralysis is not living, and lots of people spend too much time but save too few dollars. Don't trade your time for less money than it's worth.

This would mean that your time on earth or in life is worth some sort of monetary value. Hogwash... your life is not worth money or gold or whatever this world values as currency. Your time and life are far more precious and valuable than gold. Try not to waste it like most of us have or are doing. Spend your time helping others and giving. Give when it hurts and help when your too busy. I screwed it up but if your just starting out, invest your time, money, effort... etc etc. into your family and friends. This investment will pay off in the long run like no other and you'll sleep good at night without the nightmares. You probably won't listen or understand that but like myself you will realize later in life that the people who preached this and understood this philosophy are the real APs in this game called life.

Metal Detecting can be fun but most of the good sites have been picked over. There are quite a few ghost towns and mining camps around out west though. Beware the BLM. It's a Federal Offense to be caught with a metal detector on Federal land. If you're not afraid of poisoning yourself you can always go to thrift shops searching for gold filled costume jewelry then grind and treat with hydrogen peroxide then acid to free the gold.
Gambling is a metaphor for life. Hang around long enough and it's all gone.

OK, let's re-rail this thread and get it popping.

This is Vegas only, but maybe they have similar stuff in other cities.

The Radio Shopping Show. The weirdest thing about me is, I actually like listening. But you don't have to. Fantastic deals on everything from burgers to oil changes.
