The only thing that seemed a bit naïve about you was your "Do 20 spins maximum and then stop and go to another slot if you don't get the bonus." But you would have to make like 10 posts like that before you seem like Kentry. ;)
No one else sees this
an administrator caught him coming back after being banned, so ....
But so far I do not suspect you are Kentry. If you get obsessed with Kentry, or go on to ask or assert similarly kid-like things, then I might change my mind.
btw you can look up his posts if you want to know what we are talking about, the maddening kid-like stuff

Quote: DeanWelcome to the WOV Forums, Nathan. You really don't seem all that much like Kentry to me. Kentry was a guy who ran around telling TMI about how much money was in his bank account(seriously, who tells complete strangers on the internet their bank account amount?) and saying that his Mom kicked his ass for gambling away his haircut money. People were questioning his age(were wondering if he was underage as most grown adults do not get haircut money from their mothers. The fact that he was elusive about his age only drew more suspicion. Plus, there was the way he "talked" like a innocent kid which didn't help matters. He also would post that he was excited that he won $5 off a 1 cent bet! There was something incredibly naïve about him. If anything, Krava seems a thousand more times like Kentry than you do. Krava asked something like , "Can I take my player's card out of my machine when I get a bonus so that the win doesn't show up on my taxes?" That seems like something Kentry would have asked . A poster even downright called Krava Kentry Jr.

I said the "Do 20 spins maximum because someone said they kept doing constant spins with no bonus, so I said the maximum amount of spins you should do is 20 if the bonus is not coming. It's better to lose $20 than $200(I know from experience that chasing bonuses is a bad idea. I once went 600 spins before I got a bonus and the bonus was a bad bonus that only gave me roughly $3 back when I had put a whole lot more than $3 chasing the bonus. Had I done just 20 spins I would have done much better.
Your experience is probably little and meaningless, you're theory is ignorant at best. Selective memory added to strange things happen is clouding your thinking.Quote: NathanI said the "Do 20 spins maximum because someone said they kept doing constant spins with no bonus, so I said the maximum amount of spins you should do is 20 if the bonus is not coming. What brought you to this site? If you came because you seen value in the Wizards and others knowledge and reputations, and you could possibly learn something, then perhaps you'll read what The Wizard and others have to say about slots and other games, perhaps you'll realize what you're saying is completely opposite of what knowledgeable people actually know.
Other than playing less spins PERIOD there's little or no truth to what you're saying, your advice is misleading and 99% wrong.
You're protecting your ego by leaving. If you want to gamble and have fun, you can't have fun staying where you don't think you should be. There is nothing wrong with not playing because you no longer want to. Yet they want you to keep playing because you have no reason to play in the first place. You're probably quitting because you're afraid you'll continue until you're completely broke and might not do that the same day if your emotions were leveled.Quote: NathanHow would not wasting anymore money in a cold machine not help?
If they leave after 20 spins, they might be able to see you before you see them. Maybe you should apply as a moderator or private forum detective. I think you're [linkdisabled=https://wizardofvegas.com/block/wizardofnothing/]just pointing fingers.Quote: WizardofnothingAnd let's not forget that if someone leaves after 20 spins- he or she may still be able to get a haircut
I'm not blocking you. I have no idea what you're talking about WizardofKentry. 😁 😁 😁Quote: WizardofnothingGuess I'll add one Nicole miracle to the ace of spades and Alan category of people who need to announce their departure or who they are blocking - I'm crushed and devastated

What is the link then - clearly you did
Copied the link without blocking you when I pasted it. I don't have anyone blocked.Quote: WizardofnothingQuote: onenickelmiracleIf they leave after 20 spins, they might be able to see you before you see them. Ok. This needs to stop from both sides. ONM, that was over the top, programmed to change board preferences for anyone clicking this link. I left it displayed but disabled so those who did click it can go back and fix it (a choice in your Preferences menu under "see members I have blocked" from the top bar menu, for those who have not used that function). There is nothing in the rules currently that prohibits such a link, but I move that it be added to the rules. No one's account should be manipulated in this way.
WoN, you need to stop badgering people you have suspicions about. It's tiresome for the rest of us, off-putting to the members you target, and at least borderline trolling. There are other ways to deal with sock puppets. And there are many Kentrys out there. In fact, casinos depend on it. Warning: Further crap postings of this type will result in a suspension for trolling.

The Wiz correctly points out how slots have a high house edge; he suggests that if you want to play slots (most casino gamblers do), then a player should do three things: always use a player's card; play higher denomination slots; and consider switching from slots to VP if machine play is your thing.
But let's look at "what knowledgeable people actually know:" the house has the edge on all of its games of chance, with fewer and farther between AP opportunities available.
Games which involve an element of skill such as sports betting and poker are a "knowledgeable" players best bet, at least if they have some skill at it: otherwise, really, why gamble at all?
Give the people what they want: bread, circuses, and slots.
My argument was not whether or not someone should or shouldn't play slots.Quote: MrVThe Wiz correctly points out how slots have a high house edge; he suggests that if you want to play slots (most casino gamblers do), then a player should do three things: always use a player's card; play higher denomination slots; and consider switching from slots to VP if machine play is your thing.

I was just arguing the 20 spin hot/cold theory.
If truth be told there's probably no difference between someone playing VP, BJ , Slots , craps etc etc (I'm not talking about advantage and value players).
WTF You talking about Axel? Slots have a horrible pay back, everyone should play 99.54 % VP and good rules BJ and whatnot. That would be true if they actually set a time limit, but most people don't.
Most people go to the casino with a set amount of money that they allow themselves to lose and once they lose that they are done. Obviously not everyone does it like that and of course many people hit up the ATM or whatever, but you get the point. They usually want to get a minimum amount of entertainment as well.
I think the only difference between playing slots and good VP/BJ or whatever is your money will last longer on good games. If we both go to a casino with $40 and you play good VP until you lose your $40. And I do the same thing on slots the only difference is you'll get to play and be in the casino much longer overall.
