I was originally going to list some of the most recent horrible things he's said, but between then and now, he said several more. It's getting so the "Trump Jerk Saying of the Day" should be a daily feature column in the newspaper. So please base your answers on the most recent Trump spew!
Oh well. I guess you didn't notice that the board tried to keep the non-gambling related stuff, which I enjoy, to a limited number of threads. The Wizard actually created this less active board called "Diversity Tomorrow" to help divert some of the non-gambling stuff. I was kind of against it because I liked all of the various conversations here, but I see the wisdom...how many "Trump is a Turd" threads can one board have?
Quote: RonCYippee!!1 Another thread to rehash the same crap.

You remind me of someone saying, "I hate hamburgers" while chowing down on his fifth one in a week.
We already know of your partisan feelings and how much you hate criticism of Trump. You seem compelled to tell us that over and over again. If you don't like the subject, why make all those posts? In the other thread I started, you made four posts in row at one point. Look, WE GET IT. You are a proud Trumper. You've never explained WHY (other than the tired "because Hillary is an evil crook" echo of the OO) you are a Trumper, which is what I wished to know.
I realize that Trump, and by extension Trumpers, think that the OO is the only one who has the right to free speech. However, i believe that I have the right to post on any subject I wish, subject to forum guidelines--and the forum moderators, NOT you, will decide whether this or any other topic is appropriate. Why don't you just drop it? You aren't going to turn me into a Trumper, and I'm not going to convince you of anything about the OO. It's pointless for you or me to try.
Quote: RomesHe already did. I'm waiting for the video to surface where he says something along the lines of "I'm going to run for president, and win, just to show how stupid americans really are." ...Smartest thing I've heard come out of his mouth.
I can't get rid of this sneaking suspicion that he's actually working for the Democrats, crafting a campaign that makes it certain that they will win the Presidency. It makes a lot more sense than the utterly self-destructive campaign he's been waging so far.
Wouldn't that be funny :)

Why don't you just drop it? You are just posting and rehashing everything. Isn't there already two threads devoted to the the election and/or trump? You are just trolling and seeking attention.

Internet trope: anyone posting on a subject you don't like is "just trolling." Sorry, beerseason, you're not even remotely original. And I ask the same question: if you don't like this thread, why are you posting on it? You're not even remotely qualified, or entitled for that matter, to "rebuke" me or anyone else.

First of all, NONE of us has a "right to free speech" here. This is a private board, not the public square.
Second, I did not say anything about you not posting all of the things you want to about Trump. The point was simple--this board, long before you arrived, moved most off-topic stuff off site to DT. There are supposed to be very few threads here that are not about gambling. That was the owner's (at the time) intent, not mine. I actually did not like it...but I followed his guidance.
So why don't you do a little research on what I have said about the general guidance on the board (and maybe, well, the rules) and kind of try to contain your comments to just the few existing threads the way most of us do.
It is also likely obvious to even the most uneducated Trump follower that you have totally misrepresented most of what I have said about the issues you harp on.
Block, ignore him or the thread.Quote: beerseasonWhy don't you just drop it? You are just posting and rehashing everything. Isn't there already two threads devoted to the the election and/or trump? You are just trolling and seeking attention.

I have the sneaking suspicion he is simply going to give up
He had a blast mowing down the republican candidates
He was having the time of his life
Losing sucks and the Donald hates losing and takes it personal
His momentum is gone.
Comparing sacrifices he's made building wealth to Gold Family sacrifices, he just jumped the shark
From now on, he will be behind in the polls
He will soon pivot to the system is rigged against him and that's why he is behind
By the way, the poll choices are hilarious
I'll pick one that has not been voted on :-)
I'm not sure if the shock jock was serious or not.

A question “What I want to know is, why (on earth) do you luvvvvvv Trump?” was posed by Joeshlabotnik in the thread with a subject titled “WHY TRUMPERS? I AM TRULY BAFFLEDWHY”. See link below.
https://wizardofvegas.com/forum/questions-and-answers/all-other/26373-why-trumpers-i-am-truly-baffled/
Apparently Trumpers gave no clear answer to Joeshlabotnik’s question. My hope is this poll with the anonymity will give Trumpers and GOPers intellectual honesty to reveal their true inner feeling about our nation's Orange Orangutan.
If Trump publicly said "I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn't lose any voters" then we must take his comment seriously due to his temperament and dictatorial behavior. Since Mrs. Clinton home state is New York, and considering Trump's temperament and dictatorial behavior it would not surprise me that on Monday November 7th, 2016 Trump in his desperate attempt to become a POTUS would stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot Hillary because Trumpers and GOPer would still vote for him.
IMO, this polled thread is akin to an “Alcoholics Anonymous” meeting so that Trumpers can express their intellectual honesty anonymously through the thread's voting options.

Actually, the individual listens to no one, so why would anyone really discuss it with him? There is plenty of decent discussion among many other members. He is not interested in that. He'd rather just call Trump names. Perhaps if you read a lot of comments made by people who don't like HRC (some that do not really support Trump much, if at all), you'd see a lot of people who MAY vote for Trump or MAY abstain say a lot of things that they don't like about Trump.
There is no real "purpose" in this thread seeing has how there are two others that pretty much cover it. There really only should be one.

Zero. There should really be zero. Unless we're talking about betting lines on the election, or something. Speaking of which. Trump's behavior would really make sense if he were day-trading on his candidacy at betfair or something. Short myself after the RNC, insult some vets and women and (today, apparently) babies, rebuy myself...

Actually, I listen to everyone--even you, Ron buddy, otherwise I wouldn't be responding to your rabid partisan attacks and Trump love. However, as I remarked, talking to you became pointless some time ago. Therefore, adios, I'm blocking you. Rave on.
And news flash--what YOU think should or shouldn't be the content of the threads on this forum means:
Absolutely.
Nothing.
Your opinion on how this forum should be run has zero value. Zip. Zilch. You have no say. Get my drift?
Again, adios.

The commission legitimately had no idea who the gop nominee would be when they set the dates last September. Why would the Republican members have fixed anything for HRC when they still thought Rubio or bush would be their nominee?
Out of curiosity, what dates would be better? Remember to avoid Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, religious holidays, and days with baseball playoff games...

And how prescient of them to schedule those debates a full year before Trump was nominated! An obvious left-wing conspiracy time machine-based Crooked Hillary stinkin' liburral scam!!! (In the case of Bernie, let's ignore that Clinton got over three million more primary votes than Bernie--all of those three million+ were in on the fix. How powerful those liberals are!)
And yes, the election will be fixed if the OO loses it. It will be honest if he wins. Cheaters cheaters cheaters! WAAAAAH!
(By the way, Duff, have you ever considered that your little logo contains a symbol that many people consider offensive? Just sayin,' as if you care.)

They actually did good with the dates from what I can see...other than the September one, though you mention Sundays as a bad day, too...I am not sure why THEY (the commission) would want to go up against Monday night football. I won't call it a conspiracy or anything like that; it is just bad scheduling. You want the most people watching.
I am glad he blocked me. He has no interest in a conversation.

I think that is about the least obstructive mnf game, unless Georgia is really in play. And then none of it really matters.
Sunday nights have nationally televised baseball and football. Mondays are lighter for baseball, but still with national football games.
If Tuesdays and Wednesdays really are the only options, then the debates would all miss anyone with conflicts on those nights (work, church, etc). Rotating nights are a critically important part of the scheduling.

Quote: WizardWhat's the over/under line on the number of Trump threads until the election?
I don't know a number, but I guess it will be quite a lot now that it appears that the door is open. I thought we, as a group, were keeping the number of off-topic (non-Vegas, non-gambling) related threads to a minimum based on the whole split to DT. That does not appear to be the case anymore, so my apologizes to Face and the new guy who seems to like starting all the new threads for defending what appears to be an old standard. I thought that we pretty much kept all of the stuff on most off-topic subjects to one thread in most cases. With the door open, I would expect many of them.
Perhaps one morning we will wake up and the whole top group of threads will have Trump in the title!!

All of the stupid, insensitive, neurotic, insane garbage he has spouted off with in the last couple of days is absolutely inconsequential in light of and compared to this. You have someone that wants to be president who legitimately doesn't understand why we cannot simply rain apocalyptic hellfire on people he doesn't like. This is unforgivable. It's insanity. Voting for trump is explicitly a vote against a stable global environment.

The nuclear weapons thing is bad. But, maybe that's just a result of Trump being a complete novice. To me, it's worse when Hayden says that "no one" among his (Hayden's) peers is even advising Trump on foreign policy or military matters. So, "I'll hire the best people" has unraveled pretty quickly, then...

Allow me to inform you about history, since you are a bit fact-deprived in that area.
1) I said that the rebel republic in question WAS FORMED in order to preserve slavery. IT WAS FORMED WELL BEFORE THE CIVIL WAR STARTED. I agree that the war was at least INITIALLY not fought over slavery. But I was talking about why the Confederacy was formed, NOT why it went to war.
Lincoln said in 1862 that his goal was to preserve the Union with or without the abolition of slavery. The Confederacy was formed when states seceded in response to Lincoln's election, out of the mistaken fear that Lincoln would move to abolish slavery--a goal that he didn't have, since it would take a Constitutional amendment to do so, and that would never be ratified as long as the Southern states remained in the Union. Ironically, by seceding, the South came up with the only way that slavery could ever be abolished. When they were no longer a part of the US government, that enabled the amendment to be passed. Furthermore, THEY started the war, not the North. So again, the Stars and Bars are a symbol of slavery and a series of horrible decisions by the South. Celebrating that by putting the symbol on a flag--or a personal logo--is grotesque and loathsome.
2) Is "Slavery" any different from plain old "slavery"? Because, y'know, it doesn't Need to be Capitalized.
3) I, like everyone else, have been misinformed now and then. However, I've never been mis-informed. I could be mis-taken, though.
Quote: SOOPOOIf you don't think the camels back was already broken, might this break it? I am beginning to actually believe he is trying to back out....
But the thing is, though not a single person should still support him, millions still do. He just blathered to a crowd of enthusiastic knuckle-draggers in Jacksonville who cheered and wept at his every word, fixating their rapt attention on his ineffable pronouncements of cosmic truth. Some were masturbating as he spoke. (OK, there's no video confirming that.)
As long as he can gather those crowds of adoring morons, he'll continue the campaign. It feeds his ego, which is a gigantic garbage-eating monster with a huge appetite. I, too thought that he was trying to self-destruct in a fit of pique. After all, EVEN FOX NEWS has him trailing Clinton by ten percentage points. But he still has that ol' Trump charisma, and it kind of befits his worldview and approach to life to go down the tubes while flat on his back, kicking his legs in the air, and screaming "NO FAIR!!!!"
Quote: JoeshlabotnikA rebel republic that formed for the express purpose of keeping three million people in slavery. What "point" are you trying to make? That all them darkies should still be chained up and working in the fields?
It was formed for many reasons. The flag still represents the area regionally. And it is a general symbol of not wanting to be controlled by a strong, centralized government.

PC is killing the USA and at the same time killing free thought. But the same people who call for "decency" will call Trump supporters, or even anyone who does not accept their vision of a genderless, class-free, post-modern world "hicks" or "knuckle-draggers" or "bitter clingers" or whatever name they come up with.

Not sure where you live. But it must be up North. I've lived in the South since 1993, and I assure you, that flag no longer represents the region and hasn't for maybe a decade, maybe longer. It's been taken down nearly everywhere, including statehouses, because it does represent white supremacy and racism to most folks around here these days. It was the rally point for the Charleston shooter (specifically why it no longer flies over South Carolina), and is still a warning to anyone approaching a house that flies it that the occupants will shoot them as like as talk to them.
