NYE in Vegas

I'm not doing the "VIP party" or concert at Caesars this year. Usually the food is not worth it and I have zero interest in the concert. Instead we're going to see Celine and I hope she's there and Rene is OK. We were just talking about it tonight.
If Celine can't be there NYE what will Caesars do with 4,000+ who are expecting to see her NYE?
Flying out to Vegas next week on Xmas from Florida
I was considering staying for New Years
But decided to fly out to Los Angeles on the 29th to see Dead and Company at the LA Forum Dec 30 and 31st

I could be wrong but I understand Celine is only performing that weekend and not on NYE.
Wizardofnothing offered to treat if we can get less than ten of us together. I'm available Tuesday, Wednesday and only lunch time on Thursday if you want to join up with us and Mike (the Wizard).

Yes, Celine has a NYE show. She also has concerts on Jan 1, 2, 3 and Caesars keeps sending me emails about it so it appears they are not sold out on the Jan 1, 2, 3 dates.
The VIP concert is in a ballroom following the VIP party in another ballroom, similar to what they had with Katy Perry two years ago. Last year, the VIP party guests got tickets to see JLo in the Colosseum which was open to more than just the 400 or so who were at the VIP party.

Bellagio said I could stay at their place but go to the Maroon 5 concert at Mandalay Bay. But I can't go to their gala. Any advice on how to get into Caesar's or Bellagio's parties?

Do you have a Caesar's/Harrah's host? I can give you mine; he might be able to help.

Last year at my table were both 7 Stars and Diamond players at the Caesars VIP party, and then we all sat together in the same section at the JLo concert. So, I don't think it was only a "7 Stars" party.
I think the only "more exclusive" event I went to at Caesars was about 13 years ago when about 200 guests had a dinner in a ballroom and Vanessa Williams performed.
That was before "total rewards" and I was invited because of my host.
My only suggestion would be to contact your host if you have one -- at both properties.

I have a host at both Caesar's an Bellagio. I hit the second aspiration level for Diamond at over 90,000 points and am I high-level Platinum card holder with the MGM properties but I guess it's not enough.
