Son of a gun, I was looking forward to seeing Mac King.

What else is there that would cover an afternoon? We already have plans for every evening.

Nathan Burton at PH at 4 or Jeff Civilico at Flamingo at 5:30.

Neither of them are Mac but they are both dang good.

This just temporary? When are you going? I have heard decent things about him.

I've also heard good things about Jeff Civillico's "Comedy in Action". But I haven't seen tickets cheaper than about $25 per. But his show is at 5:30 now, so that's pretty late.

We also saw Nathan Burton last trip via groupon (show is at 4, but is dark today and all Mondays). It wasn't bad, but probably not worth more than the groupon price of $10. He did similar disappearing illusions a lot. Also these are general admission tickets in the back of the theater, so if you want a closer seat, you'll need to show up fairly early, or pay more to be upgraded ~$10/more per.

Edit: This month it also looks like Nathan Burton is also dark on Fridays as well. Jeff Civillico is typically dark Thursday & Friday.

It's a Tuesday. We have tickets for KA for 9:30 that evening, so the 5:30 show of Civillico @ Planet Hollywood is sort of inconvenient. A couple tickets for Nathan Burton might be okay, but we're not driven to see him; that would be more like "Well, we probably would lose more than $20 if we went to the casino instead."

We'll probably head downtown and see stuff like The Mob Museum, stuff like that, instead.

Beers at TAG at the Ling....or beers at Yard House....or beers at Public House at Venetian...or $1 beers at Stage Door...or $2 craft beers at Ellis Island.

Damn, I guess I gave away by Vegas afternoons.

Sin City Harmon looks good. Monday. I'll firm up a time with Mrs. We have to be at The Wynn for a cocktail party @ 6PM, so earlier in the afternoon is better.

wow.. im surprised he's still around.
when I saw him last decade, it was free admission if you bought a drink.
forgot which casino, but it was one of the low end ones on the strip.

wonder where he goes from here? will he continue to get gigs at high end casinos?
or was Caesar's his pinnacle?

I, too, would like to know what's up with Mac King, and whether he's on vacay or gone for good.

OTOH, If you can see Mat Franco I highly, highly recommend him. Don't know if he does matinees though.
