I have a ton of thees somewhere in storage. I got them in the 90's playing the machines, I ran good collecting them they always seemed to pop out quick. I never spent more then $20 going for one. I would often spin 3 or 4 times and get 1 or 2 . I always thought they were cool With names Joe Dimaggio, Marilyn Monroe, Bugsy Siegel, some boxers, and a few millennium ones. Average cost was $6. I felt they were worth more then the $10 the casinos valued them at. I got turned off on collecting ANYTHING, in 05 when I went to sell a few things, I kept getting low ball offers. Ebay seems like a pain in the ass selling one thing at a time.Quote: richbailey86He sells silver for silver. Doesnt care if its collectible. I got a 1oz silver bar for spot price and I can sell it on ebay for 100 lol. Engelhard liberty bar.....
Cash for gold coin shops will pay what they are worth

My experience is it's 90% of spot. The smelters charge them a fee to melt them and cull the alloys out.
I don't have the heart to sell them for the silver value. I have a few rare ones. I think the Celebrity and imploded casinos are worth more then spot.Quote: richbailey86U could cash in big if u have a ton! Big silver price change since the 90s!

I have a buddy in Las Vegas that might buy them at a better price. His store is downtown next to the Beef Jerky store. He buys and sells lots of coins and jewelry.
I did sell a few sports themed SS I had laying around, on Craigslist list for $40 bucks each. It was a pain in the ass. I Want to sell at least 7 at a time, but I probably want to much. I have a casino/spots collectible collection I want to sell it all or nothing. Dealers want to rob you on the price and private collectors want to pick and choose.Quote: DRichI have a buddy in Las Vegas that might buy them at a better price. Nice; I also collect silver, but I mostly just have generic rounds bought at spot. Nothing like this that would have any special meaning to me.
