ND will probably be a big favorite but even though Md lost to ND earlier in the season, I believe that game showed MD can hang with ND and give them a good game. I am really in shock MD Women made the final 4. Unlike undefeated ND, MD season was up and down with some big disappointments. We played 6 ranked teams this year and went 1 win, 5 losses. In the ACC tournament, we were 1 and done. I figured a sweet 16 team at best. Their game Sunday against Tenn was the best I have ever seen this team play. They closed out that game while against Louisville, they almost let them back in when if they played smart basketball last 2 min, should have won by 10.
If NC wins against Stanford, MD will be in a final 4 with 3 other teams they have lost to this season.
Looking forward to the MD ND game. Hopefully we can give ND a good game:-)
