How does one pull a quote into their post

I can't seem to figure it out. I've tried to copy and paste but doesn't look good. Any help would be appreciated.

That's because the bracket q stuff is some kind of design language, which gets interpreted and rendered later into quotation boxes while reading the post through the forum interface. This technique is popular because implementation is simple for the programmer, and the user can simply cut down the quote to the desired part. Just leave the "bracket q stuff" around, and it will work.
