It's after midnight on the East Coast where I am, so let me be the first to say it:
Happy Turkey Day everybody!

Yahoo! They moved dinner to my sister in laws and
I lied and said I'd show up when I have no intention
of doing so. Hunkering down with the Lions and beer
and Mexican food in the slow cooker is my idea of
a way to spend Tgiving. A bunch of non drinking
Xtions bores me to tears.

I remember watching the Lions on Tgiving in
the 50's, back when the season was 8 games
long. In MI it was always a huge part of the
holiday. They've played every Tgiving since
1934. The Cowboys started in 66, we have to
share the spotlight with a 'newer' team.

Happy T-giving from the west coast! Only 10:30 but close enough. Staying home and watching all 3 games and eating until I wish I had stopped 2 dishloads ago. I put $800 on the Lions. I'll throw up if I win again.

Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving. My friend looks forward to the Macy parade because it is the first official sighting of Santa Claus! Hopefully the weather doesn't cancel it this year.

Has the parade ever been cancelled?
I know that they will cancel the balloons in heavy winds, and perhaps in other bad weather conditions, but the parade itself? Don't think so...

I am thankful the sun is shining brightly today, here in southeastern Pa. 4 days without sunshine, as the last 4 here have been is hard on my Las Vegas-spoiled system. The sunshine problem solved for the moment, now it's just the 28 degree temperatures that are 'rocking my boat'. But all will be back to normal soon enough. :-)
Wishing everyone good turkey, good times with friends and family, football, beer and maybe a nap (which comes with the turkey) on this thanksgiving. And of course, it doesn't take Thanksgiving day for me to be thankful for all that I have in life. I am truly thankful each and every day.

Got off of work at 7 this morning. Left 45 minutes ago to go to my sisters for thanksgiving. Back to work at 10 pm. Will be the first time in a long time that I won't be getting to eat a turkey leg. Just white meat there.
