It is absolutely amazing that he could do that with 19th century technology, yes. And that it survived, intact and functional, until today even more so!

But what would it go for on Ebay, that's the question.
The Swiss are very anal anyway, but the guy who made
this must have made the rest of them look like amateurs.
I can't even contemplate the tediousness involved in such
a project.
