I'll start. Here's AC/DC doing "You Shook Me All Night Long". The video sucks since it's just a bunch of still pictures, but oh well:

And here's a young Don McLean doing "American Pie":

Somebody That I Used To Know
Very nice!
Quote: s2dbakerI posted this one in a different thread. It's an a capella version of Bohemian Rhapsody. Not only is it a talented parody but it has science in it.
That is awesome! I love BR, and that is a very creative rendition. Who ever thought science geekery could be so cool. ;)
You know, I'd love to see the Wizard do something like this. Take a classic song and sing it with math-related lyrics. Would generate a lot of buzz!
Here's Bohemian Rhapsody on solo guitar (start at 0:35):

Even though I've never been much of a Nirvana fan, I still think this vid rocks! *two thumbs up*

Steve Martin was right. You can't play a sad song on a Banjo. Just can't be done :)
Wow, that was pretty damn sweet.
Thanks for sharing, I would have never found this vid otherwise. *thumbs up*

I agree. You'd never think a fat guy like that would be capable of making such great music.
Quote: s2dbakerThis one has over 12 million views so you've probably seen it already but I think it's still amazing.
YES!!! That dude is awesome!!
I had never really cared much for the ukelele, but I remember the first time I stumbled upon this guy's videos on YouTube. His playing totally blew me away. I believe his rendition of "Thriller" was the first video I saw. Here it is:
Arcade Fire covering "Born on a Train" (Magnetic Fields)
Mark Seymour (former lead singer for Hunters & Collectors) - "Throw Your Arms Around Me"
Here's the voice track of Marvin Gaye doing "I Heard It Through The Grapevine":
I don't know which is more difficult, writing it, reading it or playin it.
The babe is off the hook, too... lol.

LOL!
Quote: rxwineLeAnn Rimes married her childhood sweetheart, cheated on him, left him, and wrote this song about it. She caught a lot of flak about all of it, but it's a great song.
That was fantastic.
In fact, most of these have been great, thanks.
I remember hearing this song when it came out 25 years ago, and its strange, hypnotic sound really struck me. Plus, she has a (relatively) deep singing voice which makes it even more haunting. Enjoy!
