Just wish the battery lasted longer than 6 hours =/
It does all the other stuff great, though, and it's fast as hell.

No offense Padre, but I would have imagined you to be one of the last people on the forum with a Windows phone. As for myself, I have a old, not very smart phone by LG that Verizon no longer offers to their customers. Probably means I should get a new one...
Also your post was at 11:11:11 PDT, hit the craps table! LOL

How is Windows Phone 8 anyway? Haven't fiddled around with it yet, but I'm curious as to how it stacks up. Personally, I think iOS and Android are overrated.
Quote: Beethoven9thAh, another Note user! I actually upgraded to Jelly Bean recently, and I like it although ICS is just as good, IMHO. Are you going to get the Note 3?
No immediate plans for an upgrade although I tend to keep things for a while. My Toshiba notebook is 6 years old.
This was my first smartphone, and I wanted Android OS.
I like the option of being able to modify the phone's loaded code, if I so desire later on.
Unfortunately, Motorola never provided a supported unlock for the Photon. There are hack unlocks available, but the loaded code has never annoyed me enough to want to go through the hassle of unlocking the phone.
I hardly use any features of the smartphone though, although I have used the MAPS app quite a bit, and it is pretty accurate. I have not had any issues with the GPS, so I don't believe that is an Android issue like was reported in a prior post. I bet that is very much phone dependent.
I do wish manufacturers would stop deciding what is best for me on a phone, and instead, let me pick the features I want to have. While my phone is pretty fast, it could be a real speed demon with the few apps I run, if I could just turn off the rest of the crap I will never use.

HTC Titan user, Windows 7.5!
Love the phone, but wish they had better app support. And arrows on the keypad. It's hard to get to the middle of a word with precision.
