Did anyone else from the New England area just feel a little tremor a few minutes before the date and time of this post (around 7:15 PM eastern time)?

Apparently it was a 4.6 and its epicenter was in Maine.

Any reports on damage?

In seismecally active zones, a 4.6 barely rates notice. But in the Northeast quakes travel a lot further and cause more damage due to the type of rocks in the crust there.

Not that I'm aware of. This article says there were no immediate reports of damage.

Correct. I'm about 150 miles away from the center of the quake and what I felt was very minor; the house and my desk chair experienced a subtle but noticeable shaking for about 5 to 10 seconds. Not very newsworthy from where I am located, but I'm not sure how things are in southern Maine.

I have property in Wells Beach, Maine and just had someone check it. No damage but he definitely felt the tremor. He also said his dogs were agitated right before it happened.

It seems that we hear that every time there's an event like this. I wonder if there's any truth to it.

I think I watched a documentary on that subject, pertaining specifically to the 2004 tsunami. Here is a brief article from National Geographic about the behavior of animals prior to the earthquake/tsunami.
