Too painful to finish summer vacation thread. Short : recap Brother-in-law 7 feet tall 400 lbs age 74 Self sufficient, scooter, until last December when niece stole $8,000+, guns, etc. Fast forward to last month. In nursing horse, house taxes unpaid, utilities turned off,
2 cats and dogs in house. Me and Josie spend 5 days packing collectables, hundreds of cars, hundreds of Indian collectables, put all and furniture in storage. Were going to Timonium State fair on day 6. OOOps, Franklin Mint boxes in basement, with other stuff.
Nightmare ride to airport, forgotten rifle in trunk of rental car, etc.
Phone call tonight. Joseph in ICU Blood disorder. Thinners not working. Blood transfusions ordered. 20% fatality rate with present condition. May be making flight arrangements to Baltimore tomorrow instead of Vegas for G2E.
Life's a bitch and then you die.

I still hope to make G2E. Joseph is a survivor also. Plus doubleluck owes me a beer. And I almost got SOOPOO for a burger.
And I look forward to being toasted as the leader in NFL picks, Plus I have an invitation from the BENEVOLENT DICTATOR

Sorry to hear about the tribulations of you and your family. I hope things get better. Sorry I don't have a prayer list to put you on. Maybe somebody should start up a "prayer request" thread.

Thanks everybody. Joseph has been moved from ICU to his own room. Not out of the woods yet, but condition is now stable,
not critical. Hopefully blood transfusions have him headed in the right direction.
