Worst CET birthday gift ever!

I received a birthday gift offer from CET for my birthday.
In the past I have received comp rooms, dinners, shows, etc. Then my offers were reduced to a birthday card in the mail, and then electronic birthday wishes. I thought that an invitation to visit them and to celebrate my birthday (no comp) in their casino was the worst. But then I received this offer.
Celebrate your Birthday with a complimentary alcoholic beverage in any of our LAS VEGAS CASINOS.
Here's the problem.....I LIVE IN NJ.
I contacted them and asked if transportation was provided. Their response was that there was no transportation and that this was a legitimate offer. Each casino is indepently operated and they have marketing strategies to get you to come back and visit them. The last time I was in Las Vegas was 2000. Did the Marketing department think that I would fly from NJ to LV for a free drink?---What a bunch of dopes.
I decided not to take them up on their Birthday offer. Instead I went to AC and had a free Birthday drink at their casino. Alcoholic drinks are free in NJ casinos. I also won $90 at the craps table.

I got this one before as well. It was a hassle to redeem it. Have to stand in line at TR desk to get the voucher to then go get the drink. Embarrassing. I also have gotten the offer 100 rewards credits ($1 in comps) at casinos I have never visited in mid America.
CZR has a long way to go with common sense in their marketing.

Ummm... if each casino is operated "independently," wouldn't your B'day offer be for a specific property rather than from all of the many Caesars casinos in Las Vegas?
Looks to me like desperation on the part of Caesars. Your offer seems to dovetail with all the other things CET is doing to squeeze as much as it can from each and every gaming patron. Can't you feel the love?
From my own experience gaming in Biloxi, Harrahs Gulfcoast Casino is far and away the least friendly property in southern Mississippi.

I also got this. Plus 10% off rack rate. But for many nights they offer bigger discounts than that to anyone.

They should have seen if they could have found away to transfer your free drinks offer from Las Vegas casino to NJ casino . Like a casino solidarity thing.

I got two identical birthday cards the same day from a host in Toledo and it flattered me. Nobody else sent me a birthday card.
