Had a go around with a craps dealer a year ago about rude comments and profiling of gay people at the craps table. A player was being degraded with suggestive remarks and finally left the table, to which the dealer made known how glad he was. Now I'm not
an advocate of alternative life styles, but live and let live. The guy just wanted to shoot crap. Myself and a few others complained to the pit boss who said complain to human resources/gaming director. I spoke to the gaming director of the incident and I was better off talking to the wall. My complaint is ever since this incident no matter which casino crap game I'm at I always get a left handed treatment/remarks and betting errors from the dealers/boxman after identifying me with my home state. Seems like this incident is following me around to other casinos... any comments/suggestions on handling this. Really starting to piss me off...Thanks in advance

Sorry to hear about this.

My advice would be to file a written complaint immediately after any such incident. Be specific about names and what they said. Don't be afraid to give it back a little bit, to get them to retaliate, giving you more substance to the complaint.

If you make a verbal complaint it may go no further than the conversation but an official written complaint should get the proper attention. Having known plenty of dealers, customer complaints can stay in their file for several years.

Don't be afraid to name specific casinos here either. We here at WoV believe in shaming bad behavior.

Side track a bit and there is actually a gay Asian dealer at CP in the High Limit room. He is spot-on and very personable. We would pick his table every time and we rib him about it. Usually do rather well at his table. It's all good. Just deal me some winning cards.

He deals bac most of the time. Ask how we rib him, I needed a monkey for a winning hand to pay the whole table. When he slid the card to me I asked him if it was a monkey. He goes, of course it is. I asked him if it was a king. He goes, of course. I said show me a king with a massive erection, come on and emphasized the 'come on'. The whole table started to crack up and when I seen it was a monkey, we all started asking the dealer if he could tell the difference between a Queen and a King monkey card. He said upside down he couldn't. So we stabbed the card with a pen and told him go ahead and grab the king's or jack's erection. Tears coming from our eyes. Can't have that much fun at Blackjack!

Thanks for the reply Admin...In the future I'll follow your advice, but I'm thinking to mind my own business next time. On a different note why is this following my play? This part of casino cya or something? Thanks

No, in Midi or Big Table Bac the players handle the cards and generally mutilate them including ripping them up.

I'm a bit confused. Not doubting your story at all, but are these all casinos owned by same company (e.g. Caesars) and you believe there is some kind of 'flag' on your players card that marks you as a "troublemaker?" Or is this a case of many casinos in the same area and word has somehow spread between the employees at each of them?

I would think/hope that making openly homophobic comments in front of customers would violate some sort of discrimination laws in most states...

The only information that I have seen shared amongst casinos usually pertains to such stuff as bet capping/pinching, credit card fraud schemes, slot machine cheats (like the recent Russian team), and counters. I have not seen any information as described by the OP shared amongst other casinos. Maybe this type of stuff would be shared between casinos owned by the same company but not something the independents would normally share. Pretty crappy situation though. If one our staff did this they would get a couch and council at the minimum and quite possibly be shown the door and 86ed from our property. A customer is a customer no matter their ideology or orientation. We have 86ed fairly large players for this type of behavior in the past.

Maybe you're bringing it upon yourself. Some players expect perfect dealers that are super quick and can understand your mumbling late bets. Then they get pissed off if something isn't perfect.

My question is if all this person wanted to do was shoot craps how was the dealer or you for that matter 100% certain this person was gay? It seems to me that meeting a complete stranger and shooting some dice should not allow someone to verify that 100% unless the person is flaunting the fact that they are of this persuasion. I am not saying the dealers actions are justified, because they are not, but if someone does not wish to be treated differently because they are this or that, they may wish to act a little more conspicuous.

So...

Employees of the casino treated another patron in a way you did not like.
Employees of the casino treated you in a way you did not like.

You have informed them that you don't like it, and why.
They have declined the opportunity to adjust their actions to better meet with your approval.

Why do you go there if you don't like how they treat people?
May the cards fall in your favor.

According to the OP, said treatment has spilled over into more than just one casino.

That's an interesting inference that I don't get from the text.

My avenue of complaint would be to my host.

My mistake. It seems I misread the OP as "every casino I'm at I get the same treatment," instead of every crap table in a particular casino.
