Today is my anniversary

Today is my 3rd wedding anniversary (tomorrow will be our 4th anniversary since our first date). I tried to have our wedding on the same day as our first date, but the clerks office was not open on Saturday. It is kind of funny how it took almost 4 years of being together to finally move in and live together as a couple. For the most part I am happy, but do miss having some of my own space (this is due mostly to our tiny apartment). Getting a job here has not happened as quickly as I had hoped so I am stressing about finances, but this only motivates me more to keep applying to anything I can qualify for, and at this point I am getting pretty desperate: I applied to Starbucks and I hated working for them with a fiery passion. When I worked for them I would wake up and want to cry because I had to go to work, I dreaded my whole shift, and counted the minutes until it was over. But that was then, and now I am grateful for any paycheck I can get and I will work my hardest to keep any job. Anyway my rant for this evening basically summarizes into : I am happy to finally be living with my spouse after 3 years of marriage (being together for 4 years) and I am getting really desperate for work and am lowering my standards each day. Maybe tomorrow I will apply to Walmart! (Although I will omit my degree)

Good luck with your job search. Your positive attitude you have shown on this site will come thru to someone. Early in my career, I left a position of Chief Forester for a small timber company, confident I could find work. Boy, was I wrong. Ended up as a restaurant manager for a couple of years before I could get back in my profession. I learned alot during that phase of my life and I am still a good tipper because I learned what a difficult job service people have.

Congratulations on your anniversary. As a matter of curiosity, you seem to have married in California only 2 weeks before Proposition 8 made it illegal. Does your relationship come with legal rights in Nevada?
