Entertainment value and minimizing loss

So for awhile I was trying to use a "controlled" throw in hopes to gain an advantage in craps. But even if I have an advantage it's pretty easy to have some big losses, because my action would have to be pretty big in hopes of winning anything. However, since I don't have any other hobbies I still want to go to the casino to play about once a week. What I'm wondering is what game I should play, just playing lucky without an advantage, to minimize my losses and get the best value.

By my calculations, if I played craps, and just did $6 6/8 place bets for 12 shooters per session (not shooting myself) I should lose about $3.98. But, if I played Pai Gow Poker, $5 w/ $1 Fortune Bonus, my average loss would be $6.44 per session of 30 hands. So by this calculation I'm losing less per hour on craps compared to Pai Gow, assuming 12 shooters/hr or 30 hands/hr.

Is my math right, and do you think my estimation of 12 shooters/hr or 30 hands/per is accurate?

Start out with a game you ENJOY. Play it early in the morning if necessary to have low minimums. Or play Blackjack only at a crowded table with sidebets so it takes the dealer a long time. Or go to a Mini-Baccarat lesson and the dealer will automatically slow down afterwards since he thinks everyone there is a beginner.

Hmm.. I enjoy craps.. I only enjoy Pai Gow in the sense that I'm interested in my EXACT losses and seeing if they match up to my expected loss. They don't have mini bac where I go, so I guess I should just play craps, huh..... I guess that makes sense.. I did that for a couple weeks about a year ago, which was hard to not shoot, but I managed... then I shot, and for two months I had an awesome win streak... of course that win streak crashed into a terrible losing streak... I think I'll stick to craps.. especially since where I'd like to go, where I'd expect there to be some cute young single girls doesn't have Pai Gow...the only potential problem is if there's no one else shooting.
