Honest, I am not really trying to complicate your life. I'm thinking more about future complications in mine if I can't make categories that will hold up under future chip posts. Of course, that CasinoCity.com Oceania category includes Réunion, which is so far west that it is almost in Africa!

Reunion is right next to Mauritius which is just east of Madagascar, which is just east of South Africa :)

Well, you could break it down into "Anzed", an honored title for Australia/New Zealand troups from WWII, "Pacific Rim" for all the island nations off the Asian continent, and "Indian Ocean" for all those in between Australia and Africa. Keep "Asia" for the mainland.

What are the shapes ringing the insert on the $2.50 chip? The three shapes don't appear to be the same, so it seems more than decorative...

I could be wrong, especially since I haven't been there, but the top design looks like the outline of the Sydney Opera House, and the bottom 2 look like the Sydney Harbor Bridge and/or the Port Jackson Bridge. All distinctive features of Sydney.

Good eye! I can see the opera house now.

In order not to get in the way of the posting of chips, I started this kind of related thread off topic:

Yep, babs is spot on. It is the Sydney Harbor Bridge and the Opera house depicted on the $2-50 chip. Also I believe the chip is made by ICON, as is most chips in either Australia, NZ and South Africa. The $0.25 cents chip is cheap plastic and the stars are a special mould pattern. (The stars oobviously due to the name being "Star City")

Country: Auckland, New Zealand
Casino: Sky City

Taking a quick hop across the Tasman Sea we are again back in New Zealand, this time we are headed up to the North Island to Auckland. Many people will think that Auckland is the capital of NZ however, that isn't the case, it is Wellington which is situated right slap bang at the bottom of the North Island.
Back to Auckland. I visited Auckland in 2006 and again in 2008. In fact, Auckland was the very last city that I ever visited on a cruise ship while working. I signed off in Auckland on the 28th December 2008, hightailed it over to South Africa to get married! The casino is called Sky City and is located right in the CBD of Auckland. The casino itself is a rather unispiring box but the whole layout includes an awesome spired tower from whence you can bungi jump or do a "sky walk" (which I did). There are many such spots in the US, similar to the Seattle tower.
Below are two pics from the internet. The first showing the "boxiness" of the casino building and the 2nd some tower pics.
Oh btw, there is a great strip club real close to the casino......don't ask me how I know :)

My chip I collected is unfortunately a cheapy as well. A $1.00 chip, plastic, with what apears to be Bud Jones markings on the rims. I'm not 100% sold however because I cannot find a causal link between Sky City and having so many Bud Jones logos on the chips. If anyone has an idea, please post.
I collected the chip while playing in a Sunday morning poker tournament. It was a $60 buy in ($55 + $5). I managed to bubble and proceeded to knock a tray of drinks over as I stormed out in disgust......not my finest moment :). My buddy won the whole damn thing!
Here is the chip pic
