I'm looking into Sic Bo. Do they allow a paper and pencil at the table.
On the Big-Small bets, where does HE come from. Do the MGM
properties in Vegas have it.

You lose on triples on the Big and Small bets. Don't know the other answers.

The HE in sic bo on the big and small wagers comes from them not counting triples.
Therefore, the low wager does not include 1-1-1, 2-2-2 or 3-3-3.
The high wager does not include the rolls of 4-4-4, 5-5-5, or 6-6-6.
The even and odd wagers work the same way, discounting triples.
These are three triples out of the possible 108 rolls for each wager.
This equals the HE of 2.78% on the even money wagers (3/108).

You can record the rolls with paper if you wish at most casinos.
As long as you are open about what you are doing.

I was at NY,NY casino about 6 months ago and saw their Sic Bo table.
It was during the week after dinner and there were a few players there. One had a notebook. I really did not stop and watch. I could hear the dice popper as I walked by.
I think it is the only one in Vegas.

Saw a lot of Sic Bo at Mohegan Sun.
Many in CT.

The WoO site has a Sic Bo page.

What do you mean by 'open'? I assume because its an Asian
oriented game, the Asian players use a card of some kind to
figure on.

Is it a fast game, how many outcomes per hour on average.

I have seen sic bo in AC and CT and you will sometimes see someone recording the rolls.
By being open, I just mean that you are doing it openly so they can see you are just writing and not using any electronic device.

The Wizard lists the comp rate at 45 decisions per hour.
However, this depends on how many people are wagering.
Many times you will be alone at the table
and the game can move much faster if you are only placing the even money wagers.

A site lists these casinos as having Sic Bo but when I go
to the casinos website they don't have it listed. Somebody
here said they saw it at NYNY, but the NYNY site has not
got it listed either. What gives.

Aliante Station Casino
Ballys Las Vegas Casino
Bellagio Casino
Flamingo Casino
MGM Grand Casino
Mirage Casino
Paris Casino
Riviera Casino

I have seen that list before.
The Riviera used to have it. I played it there maybe 3 years ago.
They removed it a few years back along with Chuck-a-Luck.

The one I saw at NY,NY was at an end of the main pit. maybe a phone call to the pit at night might produce the answer. Or a quick visit. I will be there in 2 weeks.

Yes thats what the sign says. I believe you only bet on the big/small based on the dice.

Pai Gow Poker has three dice to decide who gets the first packet of cards. Therefore you could bet on the dice result, then on Pai Gow Poker. it appears they only allow a HIGH/LOW bet on the dice being used here.
