Looks like the Riviera has gotten some better table games (http://www.rivierahotel.com/las-vegas-casino/table-games/). Can anyone in the LV area confirm/deny this? I'll be out in LV next month for a 4 day wknd and will check it out if so. Nice as the new places are, the old guard of the Strip (Trop, Hilton, Riviera, Flamingo) has a character/history the new guys just don't.

If things are the same from when I was there two months ago (almost to the day), then yes, everything they state is true. They have 3/2 Single Deck BJ, with $10 table minimums. They do have 10x odds on craps, with a $5 min (I think), and they have two roulette tables, one single zero, one double zero. I think they were also $5 mins. The "Asian Pit" is a roped off area that is kind of pathetic, but probably better than nothing, I suppose.
They do have the party pit with 7-5 BJ and their version of Double Exposure. It's pretty run down, and only Circus Circus and LV Hilton nearby, so if you like character, you might find it here... or you might catch something. Just be careful.
