Quote: FaceIf any of you supply your info to the casino, I can go find it. Gimme your name or players card number, and in 2 minutes I'll give you your full name, full address, phone, SS # and any other info you've supplied. It makes me wonder how many other institutions have this "free-for-all-employees" access to my info.
And I get called paranoid because I won't give mine.
It was overnight they changed. For decades they could
care less who I was, then all of a sudden they can't
live without every detail. Screw that...
Quote: rdw4potusWhat are the rules with that match play? Is it even money bets only? Or could you use it on the inside bets on roulette or the hardways bets in craps?
I do not know. I always use it at pai gow table. I cannot use it when I am banking. I have never had a problem with them honoring the coupon appropriately. If I was the casino I would honor it on the bets you ask about. All those bets do is increase the variance, but not the EV. If anything, since those are higher house edge bets the EV to the player would be lower.

incorrect.
$5 matchplay with $5 bet on hard 6 lets say.
$10(9)(1/11)-$5(10/11) = $3.63
$5 matchplay with $5 bet on paigow poker
$9.50(.2861/.5852)-$5(.2991/.5852) = $2.09

Understood- given that I would guess that the 'even money' type bets are the only ones the coupon could be used at. I have noticed that sometimes a non paigow player will sit for one hand to use a match play coupon, win or lose, then leave.
Quote: thecesspitBecause you don't get the promotional chip back, you ONLY get the winnings.
18 chips on red, and it hits... you win 18 REAL chips.
18 chips on the layout and a single number hits, you get 35 REAL chips.
In both cases you lose the promo chips. There's the difference between promo chips and chips you buy.
This person gets what I was trying to say! I don't understand why evenbob doesn't get what I'm saying.

I get it, as I said in a later post.
Quote: KeyserRoulette is the best bet when you can predict where the ball will land by time traveling to and from the future.
Its also the best bet when you spend your entire LIFE driving/flying all over the country in SEARCH OF of a bias wheel. Keeping your fingers crossed after driving for 17 hours. (LMFAO) Good luck with that man, let us know hot it turns out. My drive? 15 minutes whenever I feel like going.

Quote: EvenBobWhat BS. I've said for years on other forums that
I've never had a card. How am I being inconsistent.
You always ask the same questions about it, you're
a broken record. Then you pretend ignorance, like
its all new to you.
Yep, EvenBob has stated this MANY times at other forums.
BTW, good luck trying to get Herb/Snowjob to answer a question. The guy runs and hides when legit points are made. Almost EVERYONE knows this about him.

Quote: heatherPlace the $25 free chip on one of the triple bets in Sic bo. You'll have a 1 in 216 chance of getting paid out 180:1, if I recall correctly. That would be $4500.
I have no idea what this game is but the house already has a 16.67% edge on this game. With losing on a winning bet the edge would be taken up to 17.13% advantage on a $25 promo chip on this bet it would be worth an average of $20.72. In roulette inside number a $25 chip would be worth an average of $22.97. The actual result that you would have would be win nothing or win $875 the house advantage would be 8.1% in roulette on a single number when there is a double zero and you lose your chip on a winning bet if you had a single zero roulette wheel your odds would be even better.
That's only when the bet is returned. Not the case with promotional chips.Quote: KeyserThe house edge on double zero roulette is 5.26%. Not 8.1%.
Quote: DJTeddyBearThat's only when the bet is returned. Not the case with promotional chips.
The promotional chip is not returned so it is like you are being paid 34 to 1 instead of 35 to 1 that makes the advantage 8.1%.
If you want to say that, then you could also say that the promo chip pays 35 FOR 1.
Quote: rudeboyoihouse advantage is definitely the wrong term to be using here. saying the promotional chip returns 91.9% of its value would be far more accurate.
Agreed!
