Here is the posting by GCB, Nevada: Blackjack Won 10.49%. How could it be? 10.49% is a very low gross margin. Are there any other interpretations for these numbers?

Win percent:
$70,947,000 was won. Divide that by .1049 to get amount DROPPED. It is pretty thin.

Yes, 10% = 10/100 = 1/10 = 0.1
I looked at the report and Blackjack does seem to be lower than I expected. However, take into account that the 'high stakes' tables will have generally better rules and subsequently hold lower - the 'drop' on these tables will have a big impact on the overall figure.
I thought that regular multi-deck 3/2 Blackjack held around 13%-14% in Nevada. Of course the 6/5 variants will increase the overall % too. Would be interesting to see what effect the 'whales' have on the overall results.

Thank you for the arithmetic. Of course, .1049 = 10.49% and 10/100 = 0.1.
The original posting was intended to get your inputs on "why" only 10.49%, like you said, "Blackjack does seem to be lower than I expected."; not "how" to get 10.49%, nor 10/100 = 0.1. I learned that at age 3. But thanks for the refreshing responses. I think majority of the local casinos get 15-18% of holds.
