Hi,

I am getting some comped free tickets from Harrah's. I think it is club pass, so it'll be Harrah's private club of 10-20 patrons with one casino host.
I am not interested in concerts, and my offer does not have any other cash value. What about if I sell/passon my tickets to my guest?

Does it sounds fine? I don't see any terms and condition on show tickets and casino is better with me playing instead of watching concerts?
Do I need to inform casino host about me passing tickets to my friends? Will my friends have any trouble using those tickets- which does not have any name/card-number printed on it?

I wouldn't worry about it. Do not tell Harrah's about it. Just give your friend the tickets and all should as nonchalant as possible about it.

I have gotten numerous comped tickets from Harrah's (now Cearsar's) over the years. I had to use my ID and players card to pick them up, but then they were mine to use any way I want - just the same as if I had purchased them. Have fun!!!

Sorry, I reread the post and I am not sure about "club passes". Maybe someone else here can fill you in.

If the event is for 10-20 patrons and one host, the host may get confused if they don't recognize someone. Just a thought; no idea if it would be a problem or not. The last time I got a show comped was like 2002 or 2003; I'm a little surprised to hear that anyone's still getting them at all.

I sometimes get comps that I am not really interested in, like fight tickets. In those cases I let my host know, give them back and ask for something else instead. Like a free dinner, or a show I am interested in. A good host will make the switch no problem.

You could also tell your host, "My friend really wants to see that show! Can they go for me? I will be busy in the high limit room gambling during that time."

I am sure the host would gladly say, "Sure!"

The only thing they comped me was a cup of coffee that pleaded to be as good as folgers.
