The poker game had a $100,000 buy in. Seems to me that so long as Damon, Affleck, DiCaprio, & Maguire paid taxes on their winnings, the game itself is not illegal. Is this correct?

The lawyers are trying to throw as many adjectives around as they can. Nefarious schemes, unlicensed, bullet proof vests, skilled dealers... its a simple civil suit to recover stolen funds on behalf of the investors and stick it to these deep pocket poker players as the law firms rack up mega fees.
They should have checked out their members better. Would you trust a Hedge Fund Manager if he were in a licensed casino? Or a bank employee in a casino?
I doubt his poker losses are anything more than a drop in the bucket and that largely the money went elsewhere.
