Just thought I would share a story some of you will get a kick out of.
I am playing on a crowded craps table in Laughlin the other weekend and this guy walks up to the table and starts playing $5 on the don't pass. No odds, no other bet, just $5 don't pass. I normally could care less what others are betting, except for the fact that he was blatantly yelling "come on 7" on every roll after the point was established. Obviously this guy is special, but the table was doing pretty good so no one was too worried about him.
So, the Dice get around to him. He bets his $5 don't pass and then proceeds to go on an hour long tear, yelling "come on 7" the entire time! Not only did he hit his point time and time again, he was hitting 4's and 10's more often than any other number. The kicker is, he kept on betting the $5 don't pass, even as he rolled point after point. The dealers tried to get him to bet with himself but he would not do it! He finally 7's out and he has $20 left out of his original bankroll. Everyone walks away with hundreds and thousands, while he walks away down and out.
Good times.

Good on him for not switching. That's a gutsy bettor!

Man, that sounds like me, except that when I switch to the good, the table immediately goes cold.

That happened to me, a confirmed don't bettor, two weeks ago at Bally's. I had one of those coupons that allow only pass bets and held the dice for almost 20 minutes. I had to leave before the dice came around again, and all the pass bettors were imploring me to stay. I told them that they had to make it worth my while.;)

I really fucking hate assholes like that. If you're going to play the don't, be quiet. I was at NYNY one late night / early morning and this guy lost a grand in a matter of 10-15 minutes because a guy on the opposite side went on a hot streak. He was bitching and moaning and it ended out in a shouting match across the table, drunk people gambling are funny.

Makes me feel like I underdid it when I wore my Big Ben shirt and bet darkside last month. Oh, I lost a few doing that. GD rightsiders took pleasure in me losing :-)

But we know we'll be getting our revenge soon and often. Only that we're more adult about it than they are. ;)

Nope.
He gave away his chance at a tips when he started calling for sevens. If he would have kept cool n quiet about it he might have received some.

Seems like +ev to me. You're betting donts and losing, comes around to you and you say "I guess I should keep betting the don't, keep y'all's luck the same. You hit point after point, and are nice about it. You get tips at the end. If you 7 out quickly, you win that way.
