The BS threads have tremendous supply because there are so many ways to delude yourself into thinking that you have found a novel system/method/alchemy to turn a series of -EV bets into a winning system.
The BS threads have tremendous demand because the provide a simple recipe for gambling success, even if unfounded. Most gamblers fail to make money, and they don't want to own their own failure. It is better to have a system that tells you when to jump your bets. Then, when that series of bets busts you, it is not your fault. It is the BS of some 'expert' that is at fault.
Threads based on complicated math die out pretty quickly on this forum. Most people cannot contribute anything of value. With BS threads, everyone has an opinion and everyone else has an opinion about everyone else's opinion. I don't blame the site for allowing BS threads to take over the forum. It seems like an AP move for them based on supply and demand.

But the big tell is, you don't win for very long before you start losing. There's no so-called BS strategy that lets you win for years and then all of a sudden fails. If it's BS it's going to show you it's BS pretty damn soon, and I'm talking within days usually within hours. There's tons of these guys on YouTube who say they have a winning roulette system and I can watch it for 2 minutes and tell you that they don't have anything of value.

It also stands for bet selection, something I've always harped on. Bet selection is everything, without good bet selection you have nothing. That's another way to spot a fraud is they never have bet selection, all they ever have is some kind of betting system that always involves a progression.

I can't see any downside. All the "interesting" people will claim the fun is at the bottom of the page. Whatever the case, I just see it as better signal to noise separation.
