What happened to Nareed and GWAE?

Craps is not a game females will feel welcome unless playing alone or with friends.

The game is too oriented in it's vernacular for a woman to just saunter up to a table full of men and feel comfortable.

You know what happens to any decent young woman who tries the Craps table? The sexual innuendo would come full force.

"Hey, can I make a Pass? Pass line baby pass line"

"I want you to come baby. Put your money down make the come"

"Come on you gotta make it hard"

"Hey baby you like to play the field don't you?"

"I prefer a woman who likes to lay. Can I lay with you? Let me know next time you lay"

"I prefer to buy!"

"Damn, she's hot tonight. Hot shooter, hot shooter. Keep them numbers rolling"

Playing alone or with other women they won't care. But surrounded by male strangers would be out of their comfort zone

OMG I dealt craps on a table for about three months with a crew that was 2/3-3/4 female. The garbage customers would just regularly say to them is unbelievable, not 3 days went by where a patron didn’t deserve to have their nose broken.
Every once in a while I’d make a snake eyes or little Joe reference after the hard 8/10 nonsense but it wasn’t my place and you could be reprimanded for sticking up for your co-workers, not your job “dummy up and deal.”

Of course this is partly due to box/supervisors not having the spine or respect for their co-workers to do anything about it. Such is life working for the worst employer in town (for employees), Mr. Stevens.

The hot wife, girlfriend or escort who rolls for the guy is cliche, but I see it still.

Pretty close to the mark. Add that I do not accept your gender changes because you think it does. This I stick to proper. Or, totally normal until the last few years made my stance somehow bigoted by the opinion of a few people.

Without getting into pronouns, it's an insult to keep being called something you don't want to be called.

Beside the rule around here is truth doesn't matter as far as insults go. So, you can't use truth as an excuse to keep calling someone an insult here.

Nareed is still a member here as far as I know.

We’ve literally had this exact conversation before. Duffman kept calling her the wrong pronoun. The mod (think it was Face) told him to cut it out and just refer to her as “Nareed” if he didn’t want to be insulting. Can’t remember if it was here or DT.

Transgender women do not feel they changed their gender.

They feel they ARE women trapped in a male body.

I know of no "men" who feel changing their genitalia is a good thing. Only women born male.

Science has shown a rare situation at birth can result in a baby born with both male and female genitalia. It's rare but in most of these situations the doctor delivering makes a choice to "assign" sex by performing a surgical procedure to make them dominant. Often it's the wrong choice, hermaphrodite women feeling they are male and vice versa.

So science only proves that the physical gender at birth is subservient to the psychological.

Ignorant people won't get that even in today's enlightened society.

Anyway, did we get to bottom of what happened to GWAE and Nareed? Think so.

Duffman used the masculine pronoun but immediately explained that he was doing that because of a philosophical opinion about how to use pronouns in transgender situations. It is my interpretation that he was not insulting Nareed but rather he was taking a personal stand on "self-dentification versus biological definitions" - which is a political and societal issue. Your objection amounts to Duffman not being 'politically correct.'

If Duffman did anything objectionable it was to bring up this topic in the first place and expand it into a statement of his political views. And several of you have done something objectionable by debating him back, and continuing this debate after I have asked that you shut it down. And several of you are now trying to weaponize the moderators to punish 'politically incorrect' speech.

I have been trying to treat this diversion of the thread into political debate on transgender pronouns as a minor transgression by my friends and colleagues on the forum. I would prefer not to hang you all from the highest yard-arms that we can find. But it's your decision. If you continue this discussion I will consult with my fellow moderators and take action.
